Have been using the gym and the pool facilities for the last couple of years. Gym is small but well equipped. Pool, jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam Room are some of the other facilities available. Staff are nice and helpful. Only issue is the maintenance, some time jacuzzi, Steam Room etc.. will be shutdown for maintenance and it will take more than a week to open it back. Changing rooms have been refurbished recently, got new lockers and got some new shower heads. There are plenty of car parking spaces, next to the gym.

Lots of parking and the staff are super friendly and helpful 🙂

Pool is much bigger than I thought and the pool area is kept very clean and tidy. I really liked the heated beds that are near the sauna!!

Absolutely brilliant gym with a very wide range of high end equipment.
There is nothing gone a miss here.... lots of free weights, cable machines, cardio machines, boxing pads, steps, classes etc... You can't wish for anything else!!

Gym great, pool and changing room not so hence the lower rating.
Gym: great equipment, usually very quiet, often I’ve been the only one in there. Things seem to get repaired quickly, ie rower strap broke and was repaired by when I came in the next day.
Cleanliness: generally kept very clean and corridors smell lovely due to the spa.
Pool area: this is where it goes down hill. Though the pool is a very good size and facilities look great, every day there are kids times and they coincide with leaving work times (ie 5pm ish). I didn’t see this upon signing up, I wouldn’t have paid if I’d known, my fault I guess but if didn’t expect somewhere advertised as a spa to be full of kids! We joined this fitness centre as wanted to look forward to coming and when we’d previously looked at the pool it had been quiet. I was hoping to use the pool facilities on way home to relax after a long day. But it’s not relaxing when there’s kids obviously being kids running around and being noisy and taking over the swimming lanes. I just wasn’t expecting it. I’ve heard women on spa days also complaining as they were expecting a relaxing day not a leisure centre experience. That said, the sauna is great.. The steam room is big, so I’ve always found a space to sit in there. The jacuzzi is good but small, probably for 2-3 max. However the jacuzzi does seem to have regulars who like to stay in for over half an hour, so many times I’ve not been able to use it. On days when it’s quiet, the pool facilities as top notch, it’s just unfortunate that they’ve put kids times at rush hour when a lot of people want to use the facilities too.
Changing room: another downside for me. Whilst they are kept very clean and I like the elec locking, they are just too small for the number of peopl let in. There are 3 benches in front of the lockers. It can be very awkward trying to get to your locker as folk trying to change, then there’s often no space left to share the bench. I’ve some some folk just end up using the toilet cubicles as no space. It is too small when kids or spa groups are in. It could maybe do with another bench too. Also, during recent works the male and female changing rooms were swapped. There was an a4 notice on the doors but staff werent telling people as they swiped in and the combo locks hadn’t been changed so 2 blokes walked in one me as I was getting changed! Reception should’ve been telling people as they walked in!!
Parking: great, plenty of room and the tree lined drive is beautiful.
The setting is lovely and the facilities great, it’s just that it gets too crowded at times and all the kids give it a leisure centre feel rather than a relaxing spa.
I guess if we’d paid normal money for the gym, this wouldn’t be an issue, but we paid a lot more to join here so we expect more. We’ll be going back to our old gym when the membership expires.
I definitely recommend it if you have kids or if you just want to use the gym. But not if you are looking for a relax and will tend to go after work or weekend mornings

Small, spa gym. Friendly staff. The Q-group who run the gym / spa could invest more in basic equipment and maintenance.

For purposes of using the pool, it's not a good experience. I used a 2 month trial, going 3 times each week (weekday 8-9pm) and the pool was too full for at least 70% of the time. When I questioned what the less popular times were, the manager explained that for the pool to be considered full it would be in the region of 30 people. Which is ridiculous for a 3 lane, 18 metre gym pool.

Pool always cold, jacuzzi sometimes not working and when it is can never get a chance to use it and steam room hardly has any steam. Changing room hairdryers are a waste of time and moving on to gym upstairs it really needs some fresh air just feels like old stale air up there. Looks like they are cutting costs at the expense of services. Not worth the premium price I’m sorry.

**I DO NOT FEEL SAFE and PROTECTED HERE**

I've been member here for a while and everything was fine, all staff at the reception are lovely. But the manager....

There was an incident that recently happened at the gym. The police were called and the gym staff were very helpful, but when it came to the Manager, he simply said "well, i dont want to get involved". My abuser was later arrested but the manager refused to give CCTV footage to the police so that my abuser could be prosecuted because he didnt want to get involved. I no longer feel safe at Crewe Hall knowing that if I were to get abused there again Crewe hall would do nothing to assist the police in an investigation.
