It's a great school. But it's highly focused on preventing homophobia even though the school will literally let racists stay in school. Recently there was a stabbing and a man literally brought a gun with him to park yesterday. I would recommend going to this school but you should try and make sure your son or daughter avoids getting into 'gang related' stuff.

It was actually pretty good, the school rules may seem strict, but in most cases they're fairly lenient compared to other schools. The teachers are very supportive, and they'll do pretty much anything to make sure you're getting the grades you want to achieve, or need to achieve if you're under your target grade. My time at this school was pretty much perfect, I got grades that I'm delighted with thanks to the help of teachers and friends, and I couldn't have really asked for anything different. Only issues with the school is that some of the students who go here are quite clearly kids who couldn't care less about their education, and were clearly going to fail from the beginning. Also, in most cases bullying isn't handled well, and kids will start fights left right and centre, of course these fights are taken very seriously and in most cases kids are kicked out because of it, but bullying is commonly overlooked and there are a few kids who become insecure and scared because of it. However, from this point forward, the school is only getting better, so if you're considering coming to this high school, as someone who's been through it all, Grade 2s and Grade 9s, I'd say the support you'll get here is like no other.

THIS SCHOOL IS NOT GOOD! They let bullies wonder around school and not do anything About it. They KICKED ME OUT and forced us to sign a form to be home schooled and won't let me back in, this school is disgusting like the teachers that won't listen. THEY kicked me out with a letter that is useless. I have no school to go to now and no where to learn. This school is terribly idiotic, the consequenses for forcing us to sing a letter to kick me out is very nasty and will be taken further. They said only 2 days I can be homeschooled but they lied, the school won't even support me for a school. They know that if one person isn't in then they won't deal with the bullying problem. Disgusting.

My daugher is super happy from day one. She has just been flourishing in every way since joining the academy. She has always been well supported and motivated. I think the academy values are great and she is very proud of her school.

Excellent School, with some of the highest attendance rates in the country as mentioned in the recent BBC news article. Committed to the Co-op values of Fairness and self development, this Academy not only focuses on exam results, it focuses on the child and their well-being as highlighted by the new Academy Theatre , music and sports provisions.
