Atrocious doesn’t even begin to sun this place up. No details given of prices, start dates or if courses are evening or day. The website is also woeful for this information.
Was told the course I wanted to do would be free only to find out after waiting almost an hour that it would be several hundred pounds, even then I had to ask several people and be lead to several departments just to find out start dates etc. If you actually run things the right way then I would have signed up, so it’s your loss.
It’s not major surprise considering this is the same group as CONEL 😂
AVOID.

Oh and see the bag of garbage they give out, full of sugar and several pieces of identical and all useless paper work.

Awesome college. I attended here for a placeholder course whilst I tried to get my life back on track, everyone was super friendly and supportive, I’d like to give a particular shout out to Yacob Woldehiwot, Jessica Beckford, Richard Kotey and Rasoul Jameie-Oskooei. I quite honestly came here because I had no choice and I hated the course but seeing these lovely people everyday made things a lot more bearable and when I started to feel crushed by the workload mid year they all helped me as best they could and helped take the pressure off. It was the fresh start level 1 ICT course I attended. The college could use a little work, management wise as there was an attendance issue where no one was coming to class but if you can fix that then you’ve got a pretty good college.

I had the best English and Maths teacher on my GCSE course. Isabelle and Hossein were very supportive and pushed me to do my best. I can’t fault a thing about them! And with their support, I managed to get the right grades to get me into an Access course HE in medicine. They believe in me, and I’m so thankful for that!

The mental health team was brilliant too, David was very attentive to all my concerns and always tried to give the best advice throughout the year.

I enjoyed my time and I learnt a lot from all of them.

Did evening classes in a vocational field and have never seen such incompetence. Apart for a couple of good teachers the rest of the admin staff and most of the teachers are there to get a pay check and do as little work as they can get away with. I wasted a year of time, opportunity, money, and motivation to carry on in the field.

Very misleading, a waste of time and disgusting behaviour!

I saw on the booklet and website that they offer Functional Skill Level 2 in Maths. I called the college to confirm this. They told me to go there to enrol. When I arrived, I had to complete a few application forms and then meet a maths tutor about my course. They told me to do an entry-level assessment. I told the tutors I was here to apply for Functional Skill Level 2. Suddenly, they said to me that the college doesn’t offer Level 2, but they only offer Level 1 and GCSE in maths. I was so disappointed and wasted my time filling in these applications and was given the wrong information!

During the entry-level assessment, there was a tutor in the test room watching videos from her phone while the music was loud as she laughed with her colleagues. This was unprofessional and disgusting behaviour, as I found it hard to focus during my assessment.

I hope that someone in charge sees my review and makes changes for the future!
