My son booked this accommodation and has had a very bad experience so far. The site is still under construction, the lift is regularly broken, the walls are as thin as paper, and there has been no laundry room for months (until last month). The cleaners have a very abusive and rude attitude towards the tenants, threatening to send pictures to the head office if the kitchen is not perfectly clean. Please avoid booking this accommodation.

I wouldn’t even give it 1 star if I could. After trying to get into this uni then deciding I didn’t want to go to uni they roped me into paying rent and electricity even though I’m not living there. I tried getting my money back and the landlord is taking his time with this and finding someone for my room. I’m having to pay nearly £6000 for the year just in rent if someone does not take my place. With not having student finance they are putting me in financial debt. I am very unhappy about this and will not try to hurry this process up. All they care about is money but when you do not have the money to pay these payments they try and get it off your guarantor and if not it will be taken further. Do not recommend this uni to anyone who doesn’t want to be in financial debt.

My son was hoping to stay at harper road. We paid £114 deposit on 4September 2024. Unfortunately he was unable to stay due to finance. After multiple emails we still have not had this money reimbursed and it’s now 10th October If you are short with your money be careful as this company do not care about the person and have no intention to reimburse money. Parents look out for your kids.
