Adult full time learners and neurodivergent folk be aware that you will not be supported at Bristol Parkway motor school. The environment is not set up to support sensory/social needs in any way shape or form and no funding is available to support adults. No quiet space is offered, you will be expected to use the busy library to get away from people and be expected to wear noise cancelling headphones during lectures. The college is not set up to support people with additional needs and the senior manager isn't interested in hearing feedback or taking responsibility for improving this. Much of the workshop equipment is damaged beyond repair and the college is very reluctant to spend money on providing new learning equipment. I have reported all of this but have been met with denial
and excuses. At no point has the college reflected on or acknowledged the impact this has had on me. Think very carefully before handing any money over, maybe opt for the installments if you're going to risk it as you will not receive a refund if you leave, regardless of circumstances. It was not made clear to me before payment that I would receive a different level of support than other full-time students and had i known this, I wouldn't have continued with enrolment and lost my money.

Son is trying to do an engineering course. Teachers don't turn up for classes. One of his teachers is still employed at another college until next month. The Head of department don't answer emails or call back.
None of the kids on this course know what's happening.
We feel really sorry for the kids and lack of care towards them from this college

Was bullied by Teachers , the teacher's name is Mr Stuart Bevan. They do not take good care of the students and equipment especially for special needs such as dyslexia hard of hearing and anger issues for this reason I suggest to never go to this site if you are enrolled there asked to go to a different site and and if you get taught by Mr Stuart Bevan ask for a different teacher. Only a small handful of good teachers and special need workers.

cliff notes: Couldn't organise a fire at a match factory.

Lecturers were consistent only in their inconsistency. In our first year we had two quit before finishing the units for other positions. On going teacher absences that were supplemented with stand in's that didn't know the subject. When you did submit an assignment you'd receive a receipt to 'prove' you'd completed it but when they'd inevitably lose it, the receipts meant nothing.
After bringing these issues as a class to management we were bested with, believe it or not an even worse 2nd year. If you turn up too a small class(< 15), turn around and leave. You will not receive the resources needed, every larger class will be prioritised at the cost of your learning.

Excellent college, tutor and staff are very friendly and my son can't wait to start. The facilities are second to none and extremely clean

Really nice college but the entrance is kind of hard to find if you get drop of near the parking line near the football stadium.
