i’m actually appalled by the reviews on this and i have had a similar experience to many other people! this is definitely a scam as i payed £18 for a citizen card about a month ago, i submitted my electronic ID more than 3 times and every single time apparently it was blurry (but it was not on my end, i checked every time before submitting it) after redoing this quite a lot i finally asked for a refund as i am a uni student living away from home and my family are low income so i can not afford to just lose money like it’s nothing! no refund and didn’t get the thing i payed for! they basically told me that they’re keeping my application ongoing as it’s my fault and they refuse to refund me, apparently this decision is final! i was spoken to by someone named olie and he was not very ‘supportive’ these obviously only care about getting the money!

Fantastic service I needed photo id quickly so used the express option. Once my referee had kindly verified me & all checks completed my card was printed & dispatched & I received it within 24 hours.

Dreadful service. Rude staff too.

This application has been going on since August. They have found fault in everything and held it up every step of the way.

They refused a referee that was accepted for his UK passport, then went on to say the following referee (a business owner) had to provide a personal email and not her business one. It took them two weeks to let us know she wasn't acceptable. They said they couldn't process it as she hadn't responded to their email. At that point she hadn't received any emails from them. Yes, she'd checked her spam.

They've now refused his photo, saying it's been altered by Photoshop or has a filter. Neither statements are true. This is AFTER they'd said the application had been accepted and was at the printing stage.

This same photo has been accepted by the Home Office, his Disability, CEA and his Access card.

I'd had enough after the photo refusal this week and asked for my money back. Evidently that's a lengthy process where THEY decide whether you're getting it or not.

I'll be glad when it finally arrives, (if it every does) and I can get on with my life.

I would say if there's any other I.D. you can get for your child, go for it. Avoid these people like the plague.

staff couldn't care less as long as you've paid for applications. cannot get over how rude the customer helpline staff are. if your staff are gonna have a strop when someone calls up to query their account, can i suggest them finding another job? maybe one that's not customer related. requested a refund rather than go along with these muppets. save yourself the stress, just get your passport done if you need ID. it costs a bit more but the staff will at least help you if you have issues.

Terrible service, poor communication , no one picks up the phone “phone lines are open Monday - Friday from 9am” this is a lie the phone lines never actually open FYI.

Ordered an urgent 1-2 day card did not receive it after following the process / protocol with a a photo of driving license, then passport & a referee. ALL VALID MAY I ADD.

Asked for a refund again poor communication, no one picks up them phone to explain why, just get sent a link to “terms and conditions” which actually make 0 sense in respect to the reason I requested a refund. STILL NO CARD OR REFUND - please believe this company is basically a scam and I wanted £35 for NOTHING.

Fantastic service, really helpful helped me during the whole process and once I set up my ID completed everything they processed it and had it sent out to me extremely quickly. Would highly recommend a citzens card ID for anyone who is looking for an alternative to provisional license ID and for those like myself who can't drive or learn to drive due to having epilepsy. It's great that there is ID cards like this.

Lost my card very understanding send out replacement paperwork I filled out incorrect, I was given replacement paperwork again and was taken step by step on how to full out my application very greatful 🙏

Holly and the whole team at Citizen Card were absolutely amazing! My son and I had tickets to go and see Britain’s Got Talent semi finals live, but unfortunately I didn’t have my son’s passport at hand. Our other option was to get a citizen card made which would be a form of photo ID for him. We were in a crazy rush to try and get this card processed and ready within a few days. Holly from citizen card assisted us with our application and made everything run so smoothly. We got our card processed on the same day and I was able to collect it! We got into the BGT semi final and my son had the best time of his life! All thanks to the whole team at citizen card! You all are awesome!
