It is the worse college ever. I attended there in the year 2008/2009. It is one of my biggest regret which still haunts me till date. Am so glad i left after a year there. Most of the students had no respect and no morals. They acted like fake wannabes. They were bullies, arrogant and not willing to learn. The teachers were also very unhelpful. Not a fun college and don't take your kids there. There is this spirit of anxiety and depression dwelling in this college

Former attendant, I left because when I failed my It exam, they left my EHCP plan on hold, made excuse after excuse and just got me annoyed, most of the kids are hoodrats, they vape and hang in HUGE groups and are excessively noisy.

Very unorganised and really do make students and parents frustrated and annoyed as they say one thing and then another, lose students work then all of a sudden find it when parent gets involved. This college needs to be more better organised and have better understanding of their students. My daughter almost got removed from her course because she was too unwell to attend for a couple of weeks and they didn't seem to believe it, we asked for the work to be sent over so she could do it at home, they said they'd send it more than once and never did which resulted in her having to catch up with so much work when she went back. Even some of the tutors are leaving as they can't deal with the way the college is run.

Ive been There almost 3 Years now, And the Teachers Are Not Respecting Some students, Ofcourse there are some Who are really nice, But Most of them ( like my Math teacher, Im not going to say his name, but alot of students dont like Him ) are very misrable and not understanding. So if i could Get my Time Back i spended in that Collage i defently would. in conclusion, only send your kids there if you really hate them, if you like your kids, i recommend another College, PS: Dont kick me out if you find out who i am, I still Need to finish college there

Horrible school, most teachers are not dedicated nor concerned or bothered with the wellbeing and future of students. Many instances where teachers will disappear for long periods of time without notice leaving desperate students scrambling and struggling with teachers who do not know anything about a course. Poor organisation and planning when it comes to student’s needs and support with some teachers giving up and demoralising students from trying to achieve their career goals. Do not recommend going her.

Studied Art and Design level 2 and 3 here. My first year here doing a level 2 was very enjoyable and fun. The teachers really want to help you and I achieved a Distinction and the work I made during my Level 2 is something I am proud to use in my portfolio. 1st year Level 3 was also really good teachers helped us a lot and the work I produced I was very proud of. Unfortunately my Final Year at this college doing my 2nd year of my level 3 course was horrible. I hated every part of it our main 2 teachers were terrible very stuck up and rude, clearly they didn't care about our class because they treated the Foundation students very differently. They never gave us any freedom with our work at all we always had to listen to them and go along with what they said even if we didn't like the idea. I hated my last year so much that I was even thinking of leaving the course but I didn't cause that would be 3 years wasted. It's a real shame because I was planning on doing a foundation there but after that final with those teachers clearly staying at CNI was not right for me.
However I did meet some amazing people and made loads of friends and there is such a wide range of people with different personalities. The support staff and the staff in the world of work are great to and really want to help student with what they want to do after college and they give u great advice on you CV and university or apprenticeships.

As a student that struggled with mental health this school wasn't great, first of all after offering me counseling within the school and me turning it down (after years of counseling that had never helped me and only ended in me being too anxious to go) they then seemed to be quite ignorant later on towards my difficulties using that as a reason. I became too anxious to redo my GCSE English and asked to do functional for the time being, they were understanding. I was sick for 3 weeks which dented my attendance and towards the end of the year I was just feeling awful and really low which made my attendance about 65%- at which point(after previously being offered a place onto the next level) was told that I had too many red flags and that her idea of bad attendance was 80%.. am now still struggling to find a place somewhere- my tutor has not responded to any of my emails for a reference thus far.
It was a nice environment but multiple things really dimmed the learning experience.
All the exams were pure unorganized hell (and math teacher just vanished early on in the course).
May have ruined my future.
No proper art equipment(pencils that were decimated, water colour pallets coated with gunk, ink in plastic cups with no proper containers or ways to apply, you don't want to KNOW about the brushes).
Misbehaving students were allowed to run a riot most of the time.
Teachers that would have tantrums and act ridiculous.
Making mentally ill students sit through mental health talks- triggering all sorts of nasty stuff.
Friendly Environment most of the time. They gave out expired condoms/dams and lube.

A nice small environment which brings students together, made amazing friends there, everyone’s so caring and kind hearted but some teachers don’t seem to care about students, don’t feel like students are given much a chance! Although on the other hand there were caring staff that were there for students when needed. If I didn’t meet the students I met then I wouldn’t have enjoyed my time at this college.
