Caffè Nero - London

I needed a place to sit and read through my lecture notes. This was a perfect spot for me . Ordered a cup of coffee which was good 👍🏻.
A salted chocolate muffin along with it and I sat there for 2 hours.
There is free WiFi , you need to register to their database which took less than a minute.
I am sure I will be back , since the staffs are polite and nice plus good seating , more underground as well,
Not so sure if they serve food besides the pastries and sandwiches.

Abysmal service yesterday - I was told that the drink that I wished to purchase which was supposed to come with a biscuit, couldn't be provided in full (the biscuits were out of stock).

I was then told that I could purchase another biscuit rather than a suitable replacement being provided. There was thus an offer to purchase a coffee and a biscuit for a certain price and the offer could only be fulfilled in part (this is a clear mis advertisement / breach of contract on behalf of Caffe Nero).

Alongside that, the coffee was terrible and the service was very poor.

Visited on Sunday late afternoon. The place is disgusting. It looks like nobody cares about cleaning and tidying up the place. I first went to the back outside area where I found ashtrays full of cigarette tubs on the tables. Then i checked the ground floor - see pictures. Dirty floor, dirty tables, nobody is cleaning up after customers finish so tables are just full of dirty cups, spoons etc. Same conditions in the basement. There are two people working behind the counter and they’re not busy serving people, but they seem oblivious to the mess. Horrible place.

The Barista made drinks are excellent! The food is fresh and sumptuous. The staff was friendly, welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend Caffe Nero.

This branch of Cafe Nero is a bit of a disappointment. Its small, but its layout is chaotic. The big disappointment is the courtyard at the back. What has the ability to be a cool attractive space has been transfirmed into something that looks like a surgery waiting room, cira 1960. Beneath a grubby awning, the ranked ancient armchairs compete for space with miscellaneous bins and cleaning gear, whilst the small nod to plantings wither from neglect. Given its prime location, it seems a terrible waste.

I am pregnant and was looking for somewhere to use the toliet, I was told by a gentleman in cafe nero I could use their toliets, I just needed to ask the girls behind the desk for the code. Unfortunately the two rude young Asian girls turned me away. Wouldn’t come here, never mind for a coffee. It should be a basic human right as a pregnant lady to use a bathroom. I never leave reviews but wanted to do this as it’s disgusting

Good morning everyone. Every day I take coffee from this store and there is nothing special, but today there is a girl from Ukraine who works there and she made me coffee. To be honest, the coffee tastes very delicious. The girl gave me positive energy to start a beautiful day. I think her name is Iniesta and I thank her very much.
