Great location, right next to McDonald’s, pets at home, Halfords etc. plenty of parking, great deals and a reasonably big garden section to at the back. Lots of plants available and are often quite cheap compared to other garden centres.

My Partner and me called in today to pick up a few items and was really happy with the selection of DIY goods available . The one thing that made the experience more pleasant was the attitude of the staff . In particular a lady called Sarah who was extremely helpful and the lady on the till who served us who's name I did not make a note of unfortunately . In retail it is so much better when you are served by knowledgeable and helpful staff . Thank you Ladies , from a happy customer .

my daughter came into the shop today to have a look at some paint samples for her room as i had requested for her to do after school with her friends and a staff member named Tom was very rude to her and her friends. he asked what her intentions were of being in the store and my daughter said how rude that was as he embarrassed her infront of all the other customers at the till and he said your not the age group that i would want to be in the store. i understand if they have had issues in the past but my daughter replied with “you haven’t asked any other customers that question why are you asking me i’ve just come here to buy some paint, should we go then?” and Tom said yes. my daughter was so embarrassed today and she told me she had rung the store to say how upset she was but didn’t feel like it would be handled properly. i obviously needed the pain samples so i asked her to please go back in and get them and she did to where she was met by another lovely worker who asked if she needed any help and was so kind to her. she really appreciated it and it was nice to know that they weren't all the same. i understand seeing 15 year olds in b&q doesn't look great but they hadn’t even been in the store for 30 seconds and she was crying to me on the phone. she had the courage to go back in and get what she needed and the man that was lovely to her made her feel much better. although the store is usually great and helpful i was not happy with this today.

Diy store selling pretty much everything you need for your home and garden at reasonable prices. This store is very tidy with products freely available on shelves. Staff are warm and friendly offering help and assistance where needed.

After weeks and weeks of trying to get an issue solved by B&Q Customer service I was getting nowhere but Aleah at St Austell store soon had my problem sorted out. So friendly and kind too. What a difference!
We also had great service from Mark earlier in the year when he planned our shower rooms and kitchen. Top marks to St Austell store, no marks at all for B&Q Customer service department.

Lots of options to choose from, everything is sign posted well so you haven’t got to keep wondering up and down aisles trying to find things and Emily was very lovely to talk to by the self service 🙂

Great deals and bargains. A lot to see and great prices on so many items. Parking the car was easy, walking in and looking around was a joy with so much to see it's hard to know where to start. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and that's why I give B&Q St Austell five stars.
