We went to B & Q Penryn to get a Christmas tree on our very special day. We met Paul who was very helpful and friendly. Then we selected a tree and were helped by a lady (wearing protective gloves for an allergy to sap) who was friendly and very helpful. We took the tree to a till where we were served by, and I hope he won’t mind me saying this, on older gent. Again so friendly and helpful. The tree is up and decorated snd looks great. Thank you B&Q for helping to make our special day very special.

I have had to use B&Q rather a lot in the last two years after my husband died. I just wanted to praise all the staff at the Penryn branch for being invariably kind and helpful,I always found someone who knew how to do whatever job I was worried about and took the time to explain how to go about it and which were the correct tools For the job. Ella is amazing at customer service- she volunteered to help me carry 10 bags of stone chippings, 6 bags of concrete & some paving stones. When I went back to the store she was helping other customers - and she does it with a beautiful smile. She's such a great asset to this store - much appreciated. Sarcastic, rude, unhelpful staff. Asked for assistance to pay at the self service checkout and the young lady was just about as unhelpful as she could be so I left the goods I was going to purchase and walked out. Now I'll go and buy from a competitor's store instead where the staff know how to treat their customers with more respect.
