Powerboat 2. Covered a lot in two days; split into practical boat experience and classroom learning & the right combination of both. Very professional, hands on with all aspects covered. It was a joy to explore this historic harbour from Boatability's superbly located office and moorings. Couldn't recommend enough.

A very big thank you to Nick, Harley and the rest of the team. Just did my Powerboat level 2 course with Boatability and cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only is everyone very knowledgable but also very patient and have excellent teaching skills. They managed to pack a lot in a fun 2 days with a good combo of theory and practical stuff. All in all a very well organized and equipped training facility with genuinely friendly people!

Absolutely fantastic. Had a great weekend with these guys last weekend doing the Level 2 course. They really know what they are doing and are great instructors. If you are going to do RYA courses, this is the place to do it. Certainly going back to do my intermediate and advanced.
The boats are really well looked after and this is an ideal place to learn how to control a boat.
The classroom sessions are good and informative. I read the book before going, but you do not need to as they cover everything in the classroom sessions.
You also get to see the harbour from the water side which makes for great pictures of the castle and town.

From my initial phone call asking for advice, through to booking the courses, instructions for the courses & most importantly delivery of the courses themselves Nick and his team were top notch. I will definitely be returning for further courses in the future. Their approach is excellent & their knowledge is superb. I have just finished my PL2 course with BOATABILITY. Nick and the team were excellent, patient and taught us a lot in two days. Well worth it if you are thinking of using a boat overseas and need to get your ICC. Powerboat Level 2 is the minimum requirement to get this. Also the harbour at Portsmouth is a great place to learn due to the shipping traffic, tides, winds and general hazards. Combining the classroom practical lessons and then putting it into practise is ideal. Looking forward to putting the learning into practise.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Nick, Chris and Ken for dispensing a wealth of knowledge over this weekend for the powerboat level 2, powerboat handling course. So professional in the classroom and out on the boat. The weather was quite challenging wind wise but like Chris said, “you’ll learn more this way”.
Anybody who is thinking of purchasing a boat needs to do this course. I now feel confident enough to get out on the water in my boat and go and explore the wonders of the south coast.

There are many outfits offering RYA training, with them you will be told what you need to certify. However, if you want to UNDERSTAND what you are being taught, then Nick and his team are second to none. Exceptional instruction, care and attention. With perfectly planned excursions in the best training waters in the world you cannot get better than this. Thank you Nick and Andy.
