This course is great! Dont believe any of the negative reviews you hear on here. This course will give you the 900 clock hours to sit for any of the 4 Paralegal/legal assistant exams they have after you get 2 to 3 years experience. I am working with a staff agency that hires for law firms in San Francisco that is about to get me a job with a non profit. Thanks Blackstone.

I completed 2 courses. - Paralegal/ Legal Assistant - Real Estate Law My experience was great. I would highly recommend for anyone that is serious about learning something new. After prison, it may not as impressive on a resume as a degree, but shows character and ambition.

I was a student while I was incarcerated, I took the paralegal course. I was glad that I finally accomplished something in my life. Now I’m out, enrolled in a college trying to better myself and wow is all I have to say. It’s astonishing to think a school that has been around 2 CENTURIES doesn’t have a decent customer service dept to send transcripts to a college. I would think twice before getting a certificate with this institution if you plan on goin to another school. Super unprofessional

When I was in Federal Prison, I decided to do this program, so I could help fight the corrupt so called "justice system". I did learn some good things; however, doing my research via LexisNexis has no comparison to Blackstone. Lexis taught me 75% more! Not knocking the school, just being honest. I graduated with a 93.70% average. The school staff were very informative, they answered nearly EVERY message within 24 hours usually. My issue is: I can't get a job with this degree. Blackstone doesn't cover what you really need to actually succeed in the field of law. They do; however, provide you with the basics, so you'll know your rights and be able to know how to sue someone. I am bummed out because I would've went to college whilst in prison if I known I wouldn't be able to utilize this certification I achieved from Blackstone.

A reputable, self paced school that doesn't require students to disrupt their lives. You will get a decent, basic education. If you study hard and have good study habits, you will learn a great deal. Supplement the coursework with outside reading and you will be highly qualified for a position. However, they don't offer an internship in the legal program which will definitely hold you back.

*** Buyer, BEWARE! I do NOT recommend this organization/company if you’re expecting professional, respectful, or fairness from the staff. I had a rough year with the loss of a mother and sister and multiple other family matters. They do NOT communicate with you other than to ask for referrals. I got to my last two exams, paid the usual payment via phone, waited nearly a month for an booklet/exam and never received it. I emailed two separate individuals and never received a response. I called and explained that the representative said the exam would be mailed and the balance of $29 wasn’t due until later when I was ready to complete the final exam. The person I spoke with was NOT understanding and simply wanted payment for the final exam THAT DAY before I could receive the booklet/exam. I paid the fee immediately and was told it would be mailed immediately (as in the past years). Nearly a month later and it STILL has NOT arrived. Again, I sent emails with only one response that was cold, unprofessional, and rude. And, of course, only offering that I pay, yet again, a fee for the final booklet/exam. I’m highly disappointed in this organization/company and I cannot help but feel treated as “less than”, feel taken advantage of, and frustrated that I’ve come so far only to be discounted. *** Buyer beware: No, DO NOT believe all the hype!

Don't fall for the down payment, then monthly payment plan. They only release content when payments are made. Which they do not disclose prior to setting up your payment plan. Had I known that, I would have just saved my money and paid in full. Then, when you do make an advanced payment, it takes 24 hours to process...so you're literally always waiting for content to be released. I was quoted 2-3 months from start to finish, that was clearly a lie. Buyer beware! You'd be better off going to your local community college.

It's been great, o ly 2 classes left and 1 year and 3 months in. Sm so proud of my self and all who have been involved in my growing process. God bless you and thank you Blackstone
