Can't say anything bad about it really, I'm currently doing my art and design lv3 diploma there and I love it there. I don't usually like college but it's been great meeting new people and making new friends.

THE Outstanding University of Delivering the Highest Levels of Communicative/Marketing/Design and Photographic Arts...

It's been a while for me since my departure, emboldened with the training given to me by unbelievably dedicated Lecturers and Industry Professionals ...to not only start as a "junior" but latterly impress in a highly competitive field...

I always knew when meeting others in the field from their academic study, that they had little practical knowledge of the how, why and effectiveness of the "Art" but were filled by too many "why's", that they invariably failed and were unable to accept better advice from practical and experienced practitioners in the industry. The arrogance was unbelievable... The industry IS HARSH, and shows NO Time for these academic clowns! Creativity IS ALL!

Seriously, I never looked back from Graduating as one of the "Top of Class", although that came at a cost - unbelievable commitment, beyond hard work and commitment to deliver on projects (as you would in the "Real World"

...and before my chosen retirement after 43 years enjoying most of the minutes in the industry... I l?k back in awe at what I learnt at this amazingly creative institution, now (rightly) part of the Creative wing of Lancaster University, and quite rightly so!

I doubt these named Tutors are still alive, although my most GRACIOUS thanks to Tony Flint, John Gibson, Keith Roberts and the outstanding artist (and lecturer in Fine/Graphic Art and a massive success in his own private remit) - Derek Johnstone.

Honestly, my qualifications from this Institute have raised me to places that previously, I could, nor would, have imagined.

I was headhunted from my final show by Penguin Books AND also Evans Books... I chose Penguin Books following a deep chat with Typographer John Gibson, and looking back on his SAGE advice... I moved forward from that point on, Headhunted four times to bigger and better employers each time... into the world of Major International Advertising Agencies.

Thank you John... Subsequently, (NOT as a "Favour" but entirely knowing the TALENT Levels Graduating from Blackpool & Fylde) I hired talented Graduates in my executive roles to join the firms that I was with, NO-ONE from any of the other institutes of typography and graphics learning EVER beat the skills the profession required at that time in creativity, delivery, precision, innovation or most importantly EFFECTIVENESS through thought process from anywhere else in the Learning Institutes.

Can't even offer alternative courses when yours doesn't run due to numbers no help what so ever no wonder everyone just studies online these days so much better.

I gained my bachelors of arts in photography from here, an incredible place to study, you feel like you belong when studying here and the staff care about how you are doing in class to progress to get the best grades.

Great place to go if you want a someone being able to see all your private data, such as messages, emails. Just sign into there network download a certificate to let them decrypt all your information and off you go secure banking with an IT team that can't even make a netlab without messing stuff up

The university centre has lovely staff which makes it a really comfortable place to learn.
Some students are questionable on the lovely scale but any problems are easily sorted by the staff! Seriously would recommend going here !
