Bishop auckland college is the place to go if you want your kids to be bullied by the teachers who are suppose to support them. While a student was sat crying on the phone to her mother over college two teachers were sat behind her laughing and mocking her. How professional NOT! For over two years new once student has been bullied, and pushed around he teachers at this college. She was been a victim of personal attacks because her face doesn’t fit and her attitude isn’t up to standard. This student has learning difficulties and has received NO HELP within the past two years of being at this college even though it has been requested several times by herself and her parents. While having a meeting today the teacher then kicked her chair back and stormed at the room and refused to come back on when approached of the matter accusing of us lying when she was on loud speaker for several people to hear which was witnessed by another member of staff. What an absolute shambles this college is and half of the teachers need to be sacked because they lack every basic care that is suppose to be provided. A complete failure of education

The staff are horrible, they treat you like children. You get taught the same thing over and over again, they’re never there to support you, they are only doing it for the money. If something wrong, they get mad at you and allow gossip going around if a student talking bad about you.

You learn the same stuff over and over again plus they expect you to remember straight away. But the food is amazingly good and the staff are very welcome

My daughter, who is of East Indian, mixed race, felt uncomfortable there and pursued her course elsewhere. I don't wish to go into details but the staff were not at all kind to her.
