I recently had the opportunity to enjoy a Women's Day outing, which was a delightful experience. Our group was transported via van from the train station to a winery located about 45 minutes outside of London, where we savored a lovely lunch. Following that, we participated in a thoughtfully curated wine tasting that offered valuable insights into the winery's history. Overall, the experience was both fun and enjoyable.

We booked for dinner, and opted to join a tasting beforehand. The tasting was really informative and interesting - Lindy who led it was really great. The dinner was phenomenal - really couldn't fault it.

And of course, their wines are just absolutely stunning, especially if you like white or fizz!

Beautiful winery with great food. They offer tours of all sorts around their wine.
They also brew their own Lager and IPA which they have on tap in the restaurant. Additionally they have 2 different kind of ciders. Staff is excellent.

Turned up fairly late on a weekday to have a wander around and sample some wine and beer. Nice grounds, unfortunately it was pretty overcast and quite damp underfoot, so good boots are a must. Great service, had some lovely drinks and bought a few bottles to take home with us.

Came for my friends birthday, walked the vineyards and woodlands then had charcuterie and wine tasting sample boards in the sunshine. Friendly, attentive staff. Quite pricey but go9d for a special treat.

Popped in for a light lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Excellent and helpful service in a lovely restaurant with views over the vines.

The menu we had was for the sharing platter and found it enough for two. I thing if I was really hungry I wouldn’t share one though! It was all very tasteful and tasty. The wine we had was probably the first English red wine that I thought was nice. It was an excellent pinot noir.

The couple next to us ordered a sharing platter each and the flat bread. I suspect they hadn’t realised how much food you get. Perhaps order small and order more if you want to?

The food you get is like a mini show case of local produce and it’s presented beautifully.

Plenty of room in the carpark. Clean loos and ev points.

Thank you Balfour

Ps the cider is first class.

Very well done on the restaurant (in terms of space, food, drinks and service) and the impeccable vineyard/orchard pathway. Admittedly, I’ve been living in France for a while now so, with that in mind, while their wine was a pleasure to savour, I’d struggle to fork out that much for a takeaway bottle (£25+) when any decent supermarket, and virtually every single wine shop, offer fantastic options for less, and certainly much better crus at that price range. Nevertheless, five stars more than deserved for the overall experience! Will most certainly visit again when back in Kent.

The place is beautiful. I would go there more often if I lived nearby. We got the wine tasting package to try different white and rose varieties. I was impressed with the taste and quality. The views, the service and even the food made our experience great. I definitely recommend going here.
