Barry and his team recently completed a garage conversion for us, turning it into an office space with a store cupboard. We are delighted with the result and highly recommend him, and his professional team of installers Aaron and Dan. More detail below!

We found Barry through a personal recommendation from a friend in our village. Responsive from the outset, his quote came in surprisingly lower than other contractors we had investigated. We decided to go with him (as budget was a key driver, but also his lead time was considerably shorter) and were really impressed by the whole experience.

Importantly for us, we didn’t feel like to had to project manage anything. It quickly became clear that Barry was always thinking a step ahead, which was hugely reassuring (we both work and have two kids so our brains are already full!). We could relax and let them get on with it. All we had to do was choose the finishings and tell the team in good time (and they would remind us when they needed these decisions!).

Barry liaised with our building control contractor when we had some unexpected problems with the architect’s design. That took the stress out of it! Aaron and Dan always turned up when they they said would, were engaged, professional and polite at all times, and did a fantastic job. They also had their eye on the detail, and you could tell they took pride in their work.

We will definitely be using Barry’s services again.

We found Barry when I checked out his business on the list of approved fitters that Howdens gave us when we chose our new kitchen units from there. He proved to be extremely responsive to our requests for his services and liaised with Howdens on our behalf for delivery and a last minute change of plan regarding one of the cupboards we had chosen. His fitters, Aaron and Dan were extremely professional, as well as being delightful, careful and gracious throughout the work. They also cleared up carefully at the end of each day. In fact, the whole installation took only four days despite being quite extensive, and minor adjustments were tackled with professionalism and total accuracy. I have never seen so many spirit levels and laser beams employed when judging for the perfect placement of of surfaces and we are delighted with the result. I have not added photos here but have supplied Barry with three views that I hope he will be adding to the gallery on his own website. I have no hesitation in commending their work online.
