Our little boy has been going to Auckland college for 3 months and we’re still surprised how excellent every single staff member is.

Amy, the manager, from onboarding to being the smiley face at the desk. Helen is absolutely amazing and always greets with a smile and remembers every kids name and situation. Francesca is the floor manager and she is brilliant, detailed breakdowns and always smiling.

Every single staff member is engaged, positive and smiling all the time. In such a challenging environment we couldn’t be happier that we sent our boy here.

Auckland College is fantastic, my two children go to the school and it has such a supportive and family-like atmosphere. The teachers and the teaching assistants are fantastic and are as friendly to children in their class as to others around the school. My children are happy and achieving so high in their lessons without realising they are learning sometimes I think! The wrap around care is second to none- I couldn’t do my job without this in place and it takes all the organisation and stress of arranging holiday clubs, my children love going into the same place with their friends to play and do amazing craft activities.
Highly recommend Auckland College to anyone.

We had our daughter at the nursery here for 12 months through 2024. The first 6 months were OK and Fran in the younger kids room was great! After that it was clear that management, safeguarding, structure, procedures and aftercare was not robust enough and implemented at a level you would expect from a childcare service. We had 3 instances in a short period of time that put our daughters safety and well-being at great risk. First out daughter was released to a person unknown to nursery staff with no safe guarding process being followed. Who are you? Do you have the password? Have the parents consented etc. Second my wife attend after work to collect our daughter only to be handed somebody else’s child no questions asked. She could’ve just turned and gone. She had to hand the child back and ask for our daughter. Staff replied we haven’t got anyone here by that name….My wife could see her in the window! After raising massive concerns with management and pulling our daughter out of nursery for a week we were reassured that pick up processes had be tightened up and room change overs better documented we sent out daughter back. In that first week back I waited 30min at pick up for a member of staff to be present at the position agreed. I then asked a member of staff I didn’t recognise for our daughter only for a boy to be brought out by the staff! Needless to say that was the end of our use of the nursery. I e-mailed management with a fair and explanatory reason why we were leaving, but received nothing professional back or any complaints procedure to follow. I’ve left it 6 months to see if any contact was made by governors or owners and I have received no form of apology, expression of concern for the level of care shown and an offer of being able to log or raise a formal complaint. Shocked at this level of customer service from a childcare provider. Hopefully things have changed, but from our experience this isn’t a safe place to leave your children. Shame as some staff were really lovely and obviously overwhelmed and not supported properly by clear process!

We moved our son to Auckland in Year 4 and it was the best thing that we could have done. This school feels like a supportive family from the minute you enter the building. Leaders, teaching staff and pupils are welcoming, friendly, supportive and encouraging. High standards are married with support and genuine care. Staff members know pupils very well and not only support their academic success, but also their overall wellbeing. Our son is now working to his full potential thanks to being at Auckland College!

Both of my children attend Auckland College. Staff are very approachable, pupils are polite and well mannered.

Auckland College encourages children to have a thirst for learning, which is complemented 4 days a week with homework club.

51 weeks breakfast and after school/holiday club helps take the stress away on a daily basis.

If you’re a parent with a busy life and would like your children to have a solid academic foundation, Auckland College should be your go to.

The school offers a nurturing and supportive environment that has allowed our son to thrive both academically and personally. The teachers and TA’s are dedicated and passionate, ensuring that all kids reach their full potential. The smaller class sizes mean that teachers can give individual attention. Due to its size, Auckland College truly feels like a close-knit community.

We highly recommend it to any parent looking for a quality independent school in Liverpool.

My child is at the school, and I've found the staff to be supportive of individual needs and effective in communicating with parents about various issues. The childcare hours are generous, from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, which is a relief for working parents. My child enjoys the holiday club and after-school club, finding it a great opportunity to play with friends and build friendships. The education is strong, and the classmates are friendly.

An excellent school all around. The teachers and staff are amazing, very approachable and cooperative. They always tailor teaching needs to children abilities individually. Holiday clubs and after school were a life changer in early years. My children love the school and would never miss a day. Highly recommended!
