My name is Sean, THIS IS THE BEST REVIEW ON WHOLE OF GOOGLE MAPS GET UP TO THE HIGHEST RATING ON THE MAPS , I went to this store every August when I go on holiday in Cornwall and the store is made out of brass also last August I have filmed this branch on YouTube with my seal called spatty and the cafe is really good because it has views of the viaduct from one side and the sea from the other side of the brilliant asda cafe this building is absolutely epic and eye-catching and the cafe is really nice and clean, toilets are clean and this store has cornish language and a history timeline board across the wall where the self service checkouts and manned tills , this store is largest and cleanest and this store is on the coast and harbour and there is a reflective stainless Steel Asda signage that lights up white on the outlines and the copper lights up in the dark, everything affordable, I first went to thisstore,with my Auntie and uncle in October 2019, now I go with my Auntie and this Store has lovely staff and affordable prices and this store has cornish language and keep up Asda Hayle get positive stars everyday , I recommend this store for shopping, KEEP IT UP ASDA HAYLE MAKE EVERYONE HAVE A REALLY GOOD EXPERIENCE, I RECOMMEND THIS STORE, THIS STORE IS EPIC AND GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND THATS ASDA PRICE, KEEP IT UP ASDA HAYLE, there is everything includes George , cafe, loads of food aisles, 2 entrance and exits either side, customer services, food to go, toys, vacuum cleaners, TVs. This store is on the harbour and the store is made out of copper and brass better than Wembley for sure and its across the coastline, shelves were full of items, Every summer holiday I go to this store and i have a positive experience.the store is designed to look exactly like the shape of the harbour, Photos from August, get positive reviews, get loads of 5 and 4 star reviews not 1 star reviews, keep your staff friendly and helpful and nice as usual, do not get 1 or 2 star reviews. Plus this Store sells body boards and buckets and spades and swimsuits, TVs, cornish food and drinks and Rowes pasty counter if you want a pasty, and huge selection of foods drinks, toys,clothing,electronics I will update this review in August, everything you ned for a weekly shops and holiday shops, you can access by parking , car park, coastal path, town centre and train Station, very essential when visiting Cornwall, Asda in Hayle has all the friendly service you need plus i sent a letter about the self service checkouts , this store is largest and cleanest and the most essential, this store is new because it opened in November 2014 i hope this store gets Grade 2 listing if Asda goes bust ( highly unlikely ) keep this store open forever, i can't wait to go to this store this August, this store is excellent and new. I can't wait to see you in August. This Store has everything in stock too and low prices and some vegetables like broccoli is from Cornwall , loads of Cornish food But mind the gulls flying around in Hayle because you will get your food taken by them, very nice store, Big George department and the food is brilliant, Really architectural building. I will go here this August , THIS IS MY FAVOURITE STORE EVER, 5 stars on google maps , 100/100 rating , last visited Review written November 2023 and updated July 2024, last visited 13th 19th of August 2023, store, UPDATE 20th August 2024, I went to this store yesterday, again I had a really positive experience this year because again there was super friendly staff, but sadly there is no original conveyor self checkouts returned please return your old self checkouts, other than that i found loads of things I needed I ended up spending loads of money at the self checkout, both self checkout assistants were really nice and the cafe staff were nice, and toilets were clean and the cafe was mostly clean, I heard Seagulls making there noise as they were on the roof of the store, very well stocked, good quality at low prices, 19th and 21st of August 2024

A worker called Tracey was very rude to me. I have problems and didn't want to scan the shopping in the self checkout so my daughter did it for me instead, my daughter is 14 years old and was scanning a 4pack of Guinness for my husband when a little bit after she had scanned the item and put it down Tracey came over having a go at me because I let my daughter scan the Guinness she asked me who scanned it I said I did and then she told me that I was wrong and said loudly "do not let her scan the Guinness again" and then she said "I'll let it go this time but if she does it again there will be problems" then I said "ok sorry about that" and then we left the shop I just cannot believe how rude she was she didn't even look at my daughter once. The Guinness wasn't even for my daughter, nor was she paying for it. I most definitely will not be going back in there as prices are absolutely outrageous it that shop, also not many choice for pizza's so 1 star.

The worst supermarket in the area by far.

Shelf labelling of prices is often wrong. Layout is weird. Poor selection and high prices.

You're better off going to Lidl if you want to shop in Hayle, or pop over to Penzance to Morrisons, Tesco or Sainsbury's

A good sized, local ASDA store.
Good amount of parking, with disabled bays and parent and child bays - which i did find quite a lot of people abusing.
There is a cafe on site, as well as a George and Home section.
Toilets close to the cafe.
A wide range of products, at good value.
Bakery, pizza and pasties counters.
Dedicated Self-service basket, trolley and scan as shop tills, There were also a few manned tills as well.
Lottery/cigarette kiosk on way out.
Staff on the tills were friendly and helpful.
Shelves we were stocked.
Store was clean, tidy and bright.

Been waiting 45 minutes for click and collect order and it still isn’t here! The guy had no idea what he was doing. No organisation whatsoever and very very slow! I checked in twice to make sure I had done it and also called (and the phone was answered by the man in a very rude way). If he can not take the pressure of the job, Asda should find someone else. So angry. Would have been quicker for me to shop for the items myself. Sort your staff out Asda!!

Hayle Asda cafe very dirty all air and fan plus walls and ceiling metal work absolutely covered in dust dose not look like it has been cleaned in well over a year. Also the service must be one of the slowest there must have been 4 other people complaining even and giving up and leaving.They where serving soup but they had no clean spoons so soup went cold. Just not an acceptcal experience at all people in queue very unhappy not just me something needs to be donr

Love shopping in Asda good value products with a wide range of items from baby products to fresh fruit and vegetables,hair and body products. The Asda app from the app store is great with star products and milestones to meet allows for savings and a percentage of money back . Also the self scan makes it easier and quicker to shop.
