It would be great if I didn't get threatened with beatings my first week at this university, it was because of gender and racial discrimination, just because big men can bully a woman, and one of them was a student union worker at Ruskin University. When I told Staff about this because I was scared and crying, they said they couldn't do anything until I got real physical injuries.

I am shocked to see this so-called university is still open!
I reject any applicant who has ARU in their CV straightaway as it seems this uni doesn't care for anything but tuition fees that end up being donated to Tories!

The level of incompetence at this university is astounding. I would look to universities that are organised and actually care about standards. Exam papers full of errors, a fees department that don't answer. Extremely stressful for students who attend this university. Don't waste your money sponsoring students here. Too many mistakes to make it a sensible choice for employers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Sadly we need to pick at least one in order to review.
It is a know fact that this university is complete shambles.
Staff cannot communicate simple matters, will not even grade your assessments in time and yet somehow no one is responsible for their lack of professionalism.
People keep saying this is a business more than a university but this is no way to run a business either, let alone a university.

At the age of 28, my time at ARU was nothing but traumatic. If you’re a younger stupid, please don’t even try you luck because this place will break your spirits through no fault of your own.

Lecturers are clueless, admin staff hold the place together as much as they can but there is only so much they can do…

Timetables? You best believe you won’t get them until you’re halfway through the year and when your grades reflect the mess the university cause, it will still be your fault, never theirs.

Rude old lady in the information. I asked for direction to a building and asked if I am a student and she said I should know. I said I'm a new student and asked in a rude way if I'm a student because I was a bit old (I'm doing masters duh)

Can someone please explain to me why this uni won awards last year, yet it's completely incompetent?
Everything and I mean everything, to the smallest detail needs addressing it's an absolute embarrassment for a university...
NOTHING WORKS!!!
