I have started the GCSE Maths and English as a mature student. I am so impressed with the college so far. The teachers respond so quickly, the lessons are easy to understand and I love their online learning system - it makes so much sense navigating through it and the small lessons are concise and simple to follow. Highly recommend! A side note for the college - as you have to be 18, I believe, to join the GCSE classes, could you please look in to catering the same system for home educators!! Thank you 🙂

Activate Learning College in Oxford was an absolute disaster during my BTEC Level 3. Everything was fine until they decided to switch management, fire all the teachers, and mess with every aspect of the course. Just two months from completion, they stopped correcting assignments, ignored messages, and conveniently erased my grades after the course ended. When I confronted the so-called manager, Aidan Arnold, he proved to be utterly useless, brushing off evidence and conveniently disappearing. Even attempting to speak with him in person was thwarted by uncooperative receptionists. A complete and utter failure of an educational institution.

I passed my exam on 15th of December. I still didn’t receive my certificate.I have called multiple times and sent multiple emails but no response to it. I choosed this course because I wanted to get a certificate and change my job and I still on the same road

You should have more than one section when you ring up! because it was one department for everything. I wasn’t listened to and the call handler had no knowledge of the following topic I was asking about. They should have people who are able to help and give more advice to. It was an absolute waste of time ringing. I’ve got no answer to my questions what a waste of time. It was absolutely shocking, It was a letdown?

One of the worst forms of education I have ever had, Dropped out half way through as I was neglected and bullied by teaching staff. Staff did not care in the slightest about the students nor our wellbeing. I've always tried in school but this is one of those places where over time you become so unmotivated and so deprived that you don't want to attend anymore.

At the point I dropped out I was about 22 Weeks into my course. At this stage I had still not learnt the essential stuff I needed to know to pass assignments. When I had requested help on certain areas for this I was told 'No' and was to do it by myself. I took to YouTube and other educational platforms to be able to get the knowledge to be able to pass these assignments.

If google didn't make you choose a rating then I would have chosen 0! Don't make the mistake I made.

Terrible staff and management.
Keep cancelling my enrolment slots, don't explain why, no one in customer services seems to know who is responsible.
All I can learn from this business is that it really is strictly business.
If your sent from the job centre then they will neglect you and avoid your emails and calls but pay the money they will live you and welcome you with open gold digging arms

Had my level 3 in HR in 2019 and it was really good, however, my level 5 was a disaster. Just found out the course was not available on my “first day” and I was told to go to Bracknell which is 1h away from my place. Very disappointed.

I was informed that this was uk based. That I would be able to complete courses online at home.
I was also informed that as an adult i wouldn't have to pay to complete gcses I didn't gain a grade c or above in.
This isn't the case. I am in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, apparently this isn't part of the uk. As funding isn't available to me.
Took 6 weeks to find this out too
