I was green to HVAC as being a Photovoltaic and electrical engineer this was all alien to me.
From the start it was clear to see that all the training, re vision, practical and close interacive teaching procedures are homed into a small sized group of 4 which really had a positive impact on our small class.
I chose these guys from previous reviews and they 100% live up to their much praised genuine hype.
Genuine pair of chaps with your best interests in mind.

I have completed the F-Gas course and found it to be an excellent experience. The tours provided during the course were outstanding, and I highly recommend this program to everyone. The class consisted of four students, which allowed for personalized attention from the two instructors.

I've done a lot of practical training courses over the years at training centres across the country, so I feel confident in saying that ACR stands out from the crowd for a couple of reasons:

1. The course is delivered by two instructors and the class sizes are small. There are four training rigs, four sets of tools, four seats in the classroom. The whole place is set up to deliver training on an almost one-to-one level, so everyone can learn at their own pace.

2. The guys that deliver the training are the same people that run the company and operate the training centre. I've been on plenty of other courses where the instructors aren't based at the training centre, or maybe they're retired and only deliver a few courses a year, so they don't have a vested interest in maintaining the facility and tools to a decent standard. That is not the case with ACR. I was very surprised by the equipment and tools all being in such a good state of repair, rather than looking like hand-me-downs.

Regardless of your experience level, this is a great place to complete your F-Gas Cat 1.

Was booked in for a 4 day F-Gas course, Steve and Collin was absolutely great and very informative with plenty of craic. making the course that bit more enjoyable.

with only a group of 4, we pretty much got 1-2-1 training.

Would thank them both a million times over for helping me destress with the theory side and passing the course a day earlier than scheduled!

If you’re worried about f gas course. Steve and Bryn are the perfect tutors to put you in a fun learning environment which sticks in your mind, I was worried about the theory side to things, after the first day on the course I was so glad I chose to go with ACR. Course layout is structured so it doesn’t all jump at you at once, couldn’t recommend enough.

Really enjoyed my 4 day course, it was a bargain compared to others i contacted. The tutors are fantastic & very patient and easily explain all aspects of the course & the industry, i can't praise them enough. Steve is just a legend! It was worth the money just to listen to his comic style of explaining things! Can't recommend this place high enough, don't waste your money on rip off f-gas courses, put the travel time in and do it all here you won't be disappointed 👍

I have just completed the 4 day course to do my cat1 and i would highly recommend anyone thinking of getting training to come to ACR. Steve and Bryn are super friendly and very knowledgeable. I had 1 2 1 with Bryn most of the time. 10 out of 10

Done Fgas category 1 training with Steve and Bryn. The course was very informative and they were able to help with questions of all sort regarding refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking to go into the refrigeration sector.
