Firebrand offers free IT bootcamp training (cyber security etc..) and promise that there will be job-interview offers at the end. Not true! A mere 12-14 week course with theoretical exams will not get you into the IT industry and they know it. Even if you pass all your exams, it has nothing to do with the teachers most of whom deliver under par lectures. Their written coursework is slapdash and full of grammatical - and punctuation mistakes and is not enough to pass the exams so you have to do your own side research, watch YouTube videos, take Udemy courses and Google a lot of stuff.. Firebrand try to lure students into their bootcamps in order to receive money from the government as these bootcamps are government funded. At the end of the course you end up pretty much abandoned by them with no job prospects. Even if it doesn’t cost you money, you wasted a lot of your time with them and will have a gap on your CV. Sometimes they send you an e-Mail with job opportunities that are all far away from you in another city or small town hundreds of miles away. Waste of time. I wish all those hopeful, unsuspecting people who jump into these bootcamps knew this.

I can't express enough my disappointment with this training provider.
I was supposed to start a bootcamp in December and the sign-up process was fast and easy until one day before the bootcamp start, they postponed the bootcamp only because couldn't find employer and was supposed to contact me when it was available again, but I didn't hear anything so far. Now I work absolutely different job and my life could've been different if I could ever start this bootcamp!

I just pass the PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner bootcamp with Firebrand. I cannot thank them enough for all they did.
From early discussion to registering to attending the site and taking the exam the team was exceptional. Supported and guided all the way through.
Facilities are functional, accessible 24/7 and at no point did I felt I was missing anything.
Don’t get me wrong it’s a hard course - clue is in bootcamp - and you have to work after course hours late into evening and night. But you get what you put in - 4 days of hard work is not impossible ! - and those guys have your back and make it as easy on you as they can.
Room on site give you all you need - a clean bed and shower, desk and chair and even a TV that don’t get to be switched on. Food is ok and feed its man, you won’t go hungry.
Overall a 5 star service and a certificate at the end of it if you do your bit of the bargain.
Will definitely use again for future certif!

This is, without doubt, the best way to do IT training - total immersion. The training staff were exceptional in both their knowledge and delivery of the course. The facilities are top class - every piece of hardware and software that you will need for the course is provided, and more on top.

The course delivery is very intense, in a 2 week course (including weekends) we had about 140 hours of classroom time, with extra hours spent doing preparation and follow up work. At the end of the 2 weeks, although shattered, I had my certification and felt a huge level of satisfaction at what had been achieved in a short space of time.

I did the Certified Ethical Hacker course a couple of years ago. I could not fault the experience in anyway.

The course was laid out well, and more importantly the instructor really knew his material. It was an intensive course, with early starts, late finishes and homework, but it was also fun. very hands-on with great practical examples to work through.

The location and amenities were top-notch and I would not hesitate to use Firebrand again!

This was my second visit to Firebrand. Every time I have been here I have had an amazing experience.

I highly recommend Firebrand to anyone looking to take an IT training. It is always fun and I have learnt a lot and passed all my exams.
My trainer Gary was amazing. He found unique and memorable ways for us to learn (ask him about his trunk!).

I am very satisfied with the training I have received and can’t wait to book my next course!

Firebrand Training courses are intense. We are talking 12 hour + days, Revision for whats left of the evening and maybe even a sleepless nigh or two if you really can't get something. However, there is just no other experience like it. I have passed every exam I trained for and taken at firebrand, and that is absolutely no coincidence.

The trainers are usually experts in their field and are incredibly friendly. The onsite staff are amazing and are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you can focus on the only thing that matters, which is learning the course material (Shout out to Paul Templeton, the often unsung hero of the Wyboston Training Centre).

I wholeheartedly recommend Firebrand for anyone in the IT field who wants to not only pass their exam, but actually learn and expand their knowledge of the field, and also meet and network with other like minded individuals doing the same thing.

My experience of the CIPM training was very poor. I was promised all sorts of blended learning exercises and labs to enhance the learning experience during the sales process. Unfortunately this was just false promises.

All that happened was that the instructor went through the official IAPP slides over the whole duration of the training.

There was no value added by Firebrand or anything to justify paying the premium charged. I would not recommend it to anyone - there are much better offerings on the market from other providers.

I'm pleased to say that I passed my exam but the training by Firebrand did not have any part to play in this.

The accommodation was also very disgusting and in major need of an upgrade although I was offered a better more modernised room after expressing my disgust.

Most of the participants on the course echoed the same thoughts.
