One of the most active courses out there. Gives an excellent start to learning perl to novice developers. Exercises require good amount of concentration and completing each topic certainly increases confidence in those topics.
I was able to pick up perl related tasks in my company, just 2 weeks after starting this course and was comfortably able to read perl code in our company codebase. Highly recommend!

I'm a recent university graduate who recently started working for a company that uses Perl and the Dancer2 framework.

Instead of following a tutorial, I found Geek Uni's Perl Essentials to be extremely beneficial. I found the teaching technique of actually completing exercises to be more practical.
