I had such a blast joining this group for a taster session! Really friendly welcome from the instructors when I arrived. It was a tough workout but great fun, especially the paired/team exercises! We were encouraged all the way through and I left feeling so positive. I was offered a great membership to suit my needs and I can’t wait for the next session!

I've been blown away by the experience of joining Be Military Fit. The workouts are incredibly effective, always varied, and full of surprises that keep you engaged and motivated. All the instructors are exceptional – pushing you to work hard while ensuring you're challenged at your own fitness level. Excellent workouts for all levels. I saw huge benefits after a relatively short time (I joined BMF a year ago, but I am writing a review only now. I always get there in the end, Tom!)
Classes are held in the park, no matter the weather - winter months are actually not that bad - they are always fun and engaging. All instructors are very skilled and wonderful, they manage to adapt the class and the exercises to different levels. You work hard, but you have fun at the same time. I've made really good friends too. It's like having a local fitness community. What could you ask for more? I highly recommend it. The only downside is that it's highly addictive!

If you love a burpee & dream of doing duck walks, this is the place for you! No seriously, I've been doing BMF here for years, made some good friends galloping around the common in all weathers. It's the best workout you can get and it's very good value for money.
Keep fit and have fun with a varied bunch of people, I'd recommend to anyone.

After a brief hiatus, I am soOo glad to be plugged back into BMF. 😁 The fitness classes are hardcore/ torture/ hell 🔥 BUT also ridiculously fun/ good for you/ and the instructors are AMAZING! 🤸🏾‍♂️ The vibe is welcoming/ warm/ inspiring. 🥳 I would 1000% recommend.❤️

Be Military Fit (BMF) is a great outdoors, park-based fitness group. Do not be put off by the word military. Although the instructors have been in the military, and will start classes bang on the advertised start times, there are no snarling Full Metal Jacket Sergeant Hartmans, and you will not be barked at or made to feel that you are not good enough. On the contrary, while you will be pushed, this will be done with bags of enthusiasm, cheerfulness, banter, and instructors who genuinely care and want everyone to do, and be, their best. Most classes are predominantly cardio, running around the common doing various plyometric exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, squat thrusts etc. There are plenty of fun exercises that you did when you were a kid that are even more fun when you do them as an adult, such as wheelbarrow runs and piggybacks. No two classes are the same so you will not suffer from boredom. There are also kit classes where the focus is more on developing strength using kit such as kettle bells or ViPR tubes. Do not be put off if you are unfit. The classes are designed to accommodate a range of abilities and you will be amazed at how quickly the combination of exercising regularly in the park with like-minded, friendly people, with instructors who are supportive, will not only improve your physical fitness, but will improve your mental health too. Everyone leaves the session with a grin 😊.

Absolutely love BMF and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new gym/workout regime. Truly is the only exercise that’s ever shown results for me personally both mentally and physically. Everyone who takes part is so friendly and welcoming, the instructors always tailor the exercise difficulty to people’s levels so you never feel like you are behind. It is an intense 45-60 mins but promise it’s so worth it for the benefits!

Revitalising! I attend the 6:30am session on Clapham Common and it's a great way to start my day. Everyone is really friendly, also everyone is on their on level which makes it easy to fit in if your a newbie. The trainers really push regardless of what level you are on. It's lovely to be part of a group and to be outside training. I have a 9-5 desk job, so to get some time out in the open before work is great for the mental health.
