bullying not dealt with and ignored by members of staff.Teachers also favour certain students over others.Not being allowed to go to toilet is stupid because it will distract students from learning or writing also teachers put student out of their comfort zone and if they don't do it they get a detention. i don't suggest sending your child here it is a bad school.

This is a good school. It's done a lot for me as I have progressed through each year group and bullying is dealt with properly. there is also a lot of support given to students. the only times when I have ever heard arguments between students and teachers have been when there have needed to be discussions or when students have needed to be disciplined. In post 16, facilities are provided for students and teachers support them in reaching for their goals. Yes bullying does happen in school but it is dealt with and picked up on by staff, it cannot be stamped out completely, that's impossible. There are not as many fist fights as there used to be. The school and its staff have always strived to put students first. I am also a student myself and can see both sides of the situation. it has strict rules but that's what keeps it all so structured, no matter how unnecessary some of those rules may seem. I have also had to deal with bullying myself and still have to deal with it sometimes but it has always been dealt with and resolved properly

Bullying not dealt with correctly and ignored by key member of staff. Flooded with supply teachers in KS3. Some very good teachers but some bad ones also.
The students first motto should not be believed.
Consequence system whilst good in theory is applied randomly with no consistency accross staff.
