Just returned from one of the most frustrating shopping experiences of my life. The lay out in this shop generally makes little sense anyway. When I asked a worker where an item was I was simply given an isle number and not taken to the item. I had been trained to do this when I worked in a supermarket, but this was as when customer service was important. I then spotted one open staffed check out, but was told she was closed. So I headed to the self scan with a trolly full. Obviously every few items needed a code because the weight was wrong. There was several staff on the self scans. But I was invisible at this point, they would look past me or carry on chatting to each other. When they did come they didn't check any item they just scanned a barcode. So I could have easily stolen lots. And also I'm not sure what
health and safety laws have changed for them to drag pallets out at 7.30, but this always used to be after the store closed.

I went on 22/4/2021 ~ The store is clean, provides hand sanitizers, clean station to clean trolleys. Store is not busy today, 95% customers wore face masks, disappointed to see some asda staff not wearing masks correctly!!!!!

Had a massive complaint back in June 2020, as most staff didn’t wear masks, no one way system, no social distancing, cleaning station was dirty & most cleaning spray were empty! So it’s nice to see improvement.

Didn’t need assistance today, however had a few incidents in store & staff / even management were not helpful & friendly. Hence we only shop at asda occasionally.

Price is fair, loads of everything for everyone. Plenty parking.

Not the worst shop, but not far from it. i don't mind Asda, but this particular store always has a very limited selection of everything from fruit, to clothes! When they do have fruit and vegetables, it's always definitely not fresh.

Staff are nice though, so I'll add a star for that.

2 stars. Go to M&S - it's a 2 minute drive away.

Ordered 2 bacon baps and told it would be about 10mins. At this time there's 4 customers in the restaurant. Waited 20mins and went up and asked. Lady says I've only 1 bap so am gonna have to defrost the other. A little annoyed I asked for a refund they asked if I payed by cash which I did. Then the guy took me to customers service for a refund and told me to wait in the queue that was already long. Told him no I've Waited long enough. Got my refund. Went to Sainsbury's got what I wanted in half the time with more customers in the restaurant. Happy with my food. Won't be dinning at asda again very poor service. Felt like we were bring ignored aswell

Scan and go is not correct our scan said £330 when the security check it was £294, staff could not explain why this happened. After this we never used it again , till lines 4 deep, pallets lining aisles , rubbish on the floor which makes the aisles difficult to manoeuvre, staff are kind and polite and are happy to help, and they have expressed there dissatisfaction working there.

Every time we shop at this Asda Fosse Park, which is not often, I can't get proper help from staff. Either the staff makes you feel, they are to be busy to help you or they are rather in a hurry to deal with the shopping issues. The staff at self service are also impatient specially when there are voucher items. Will definitely not come to Fosse Park Asda ever again.

The people that served me were great, they were polite and attentive. The salesperson unfortunately gave me incorrect information, but in good faith. I bought two pairs of glasses, one varifocal and one for distance, this was so that if I got on with the varifocals, or did not, we would only have to replace one pair, not both. I was told that within two weeks this could be done for free. I returned after a week, to swap the distance glasses for another varifocal pair, to be told by the person on there counter that 'no they didn't tell you that', I replied that they did or I would have bought two varifocals, and had agreed to this to save them from wasting money on changing two pairs of glasses. The person on the counter replied that it didn't matter, the manufacturer would not replace the lenses and I would have to cover any cost, despite this being a fault on the behalf of their sales person. Shopping here cost me £80 in glasses I cannot use, but it was rudeness and refusal of the person on the counter to help that really upset me
