My wife and I where helped today by pritesh- he was absolutely amazing and very helpful- he didn't mind going out of his way to make sure we under stood completely and advising us what was best to by and what wouldn't be advised , I've never had such amazing help by someone before he was truly amazing and a lovely chap , he told me to let him know how my course went - I thought this was a very dedicated member of staff at B&Q, --- kyle with his wife and the 2 kids THANK YOU

I was lied to twice about my order. On the order it's self and on the phone. Then when it came to the day before I was screwed over. There delivery is the worst home hardware store ever. You should always choose wickes for delivery of items.

Disgrace to the brand B&Q!

Looks like the staff there are just coming to spend their time and get paid without adding value.

Avoid going to this store, it’s useless, unless you are ready to accept their extremely poor customer service. Tried to reach 3 members of their staff in different department, all of them tried to pass the ball either directing to another department or just saying “ all we have is displayed on the isles” , not even bothered to look what customer wants or tried to recommend an alternative solution.

My wife called in today to buy paint. The 15 llitres tin was too heavy for her to carry but when she asked for help was told by the staff at self-checkout that they were not allowed to help beyond putting it on a trolley (ie they wouldn’t help loading into the car) I thought B&Q prided themselves on customer care. In the end a helpful guy from the Trade point volunteered himself when he saw her struggling. I hope he didn’t get sacked!

If i could give them no stars i would. Worst customer service possible. Bought some bathroom cabinets from them, the backing is missing, they told me thats how they sell them even though thats not how they were displayed in the store. My toiletries fall in the gap. Also the mechanism inside the draw is sharp and exposed, they didn’t send covers. Been chasing this now for over 2 months, getting every excuse under the sun, “we have a backlog” “we are working on it” “we are on annual leave” blah blah blah. They were very quick to take my money, unfortunately not quick to solve any issues. Pathetic and disappointing would never buy from them again.

They keep brand products and quite responsibly priced very good customer service. Paint, bathroom, plumbing... all under one roof at competitive prices. What more can you ask for. Very good for a local store, the selection of paints is excellent, and staff are always very helpful. Great B&Q store in a really good location not too far out from the city centre, and right next to Abbey park. Staff are always friendly and helpful, never too long of a wait at the tills and have always managed to find a parking space without issue.

It's been a long time since I have been this frustrated in placing an order. The delivery conditions were horrendous, no delivery on weekends, no click and collect, no pick up point, no leave in safe place, no leave with neighbour or alternative adreress and delivery would take 5 days. It was more expensive when ordering than advertised at the store. The attitude was, either order or dont. Its like they do their best not to sell the item. Their delivery service is the worst I have seen in a long time. Shame on you B&Q, are you making that much money that you don't care about your customers, or are you just incompetent?
I decided to phone customers' services to complain about their inadequate delivery service. It was based overseas, they were unable to understand me due to a poor phone line. I gave up and phone back hoping for a better line, still had problems hearing me.
