Got to the leicester store before 9am spoke to Natalie she was brilliant and very helpful i asked if she could check stock which she did and told me if i order the toy online she will process it & ill get it be for before the store opens. So ordered the item & as promised received it , I spoke to Natalie again and she interduced her self being store manager, she is a credit to the business

Really poor from this store. Advertise 1 price on shelf with very similar description and shelf full so it looks like it is in correct place but it scans at another. Wouldn't honour the advertised price on the shelf because the correct price was nearby! Really abrupt and rude manager too, seems a common theme with other reviews

Love the products offered in store, however, service is hit and miss. Bought a children’s bike on Thursday and told to collect on Saturday. Arrived at 11:45am and the bike was only starting to be assembled. Staff (Natalie) was a bit rude.

I would like to commend the manger, Natalie at the Leicester store. Natalie was very pleasant and so helpful on the 14th November 2024. I was able to complete my Lego minifigure collection, due to her offering to search for and through a couple of complete boxes.

Had a collection to get, used the machine in store, it added my name to the board. Ended up having to ask about my order after half an hour as board wasn't getting updated despite other people using it. All the staff saw me waiting for a collection and didn't approach me once, no apology about the wait either. It wasn't even busy instore. If you aren't able to actually run the system of collection smoothly, don't have it. Also the box I collected looks almost secondhand it's so banged up.

1st May 2023 My daughter and I was shopping in Leicester Smyths which is miles away from Grantham to buy a bike not knowing they come in a box and you have to build them or the shop can do this very cheap for £10 but we would have to return. We were gutted we couldn't walk away with a bike today but Glynn a retail expert on the shop floor could see how disappointed we were and said he would have a word with his manager Brett and promised if we purchased the one of the shop floor he would replace it by building one the following day. They both agreed and made a very happy girl and when we got home we went for a bike ride and again today. I would like to say they were both very helpful and polite. I am pleased to say I thought customer service like this had gone but Smtyhs obviously still believe in helping the customer.
I would like to say we did go to another bike shop who gave us no advice apart from he shouted over the counter if your looking for a bike and want it today don't bother it takes weeks to get it and were behind in building them so we left. So your looking for a bike try Smthys it was cheaper and had more teenage choice. Thank you Glynn & Brett

Took kids here to spend some Christmas money

You can shop at Amazon or eBay and find things cheaper I’m sure but they can’t see the toys. This is all part of the experience.

Same as going to the cinema compared to watching a movie at home. Or eating out rather than making it at home. Anyways back to the store

So much choice here and staff are really helpful. Very clean and well organised, Would deffo come again.
