(October 2024) BACK at West London to work with the brilliant teaching staff. A closer look at questioning, and an exploration of feedback. One member of staff said, “You inspire us with theory and practice, and keep pushing us to think outside the box…” 📦 🙌🏽

Led by a superb teaching and learning team.

(October 2023) Again, fascinating to work with West London College yesterday. 🙌🏼

So many broad courses and qualifications makes teaching and learning incredibly complex.

Over 20,000 students 🤯

The staff worked REALLY hard on some difficult concepts 🏆 It was a privilege to work with the staff. Thank you to the wonderful teaching and learning team for organising an epic day of professional learning for staff at West London College. Delighted to play a small part …

Very friendly and attentive service for Beaujolais evening. The food was amazing! Flavour of the onion soup was excellent and not too salty. Ox cheek was so tender and beautifully cooked. And dessert was well presented and delicious
Thank you so much chefs and servers! We will be back and tell all of our friends

WLC is located near Baron's Court Station and Hammersmith Station in London. It's also close to West Kensington and Shepherd's Bush, making it easier to rent a house at a relatively lower price than downtown

London. London Heathrow Airport, downtown London, Wimbledon, and New Malden, where many Korean restaurants are located.

WLC's overall facilities and school system are old, but professors' passion for teaching is far behind any other school.

The students enrolled in the EFL(CELTA?) are from various countries, including Italy, France, Spain, China, Romania, Uruguay, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel etc. Therefore, it is easy to get close to students from various countries and enjoy various activities.

Most of the equipment used in class is old and classrooms are not modern, but the enthusiasm of some teachers is excellent.

It's good to learn English and improve your English skills. However, the number of orthodox English teachers among ELS teachers is somewhat insufficient.

There are no dormitories operated at the WLC school level, so you have to find a house for yourself.

But the school's International Students Office actively counsels students so that they can get a house.

There is a cafeteria in the school, so you can use it cheaply, but the menu is not diverse. The library is also operated, but it does not stop students from chatting and chatting in the library, and the staff in the library often makes more noise, such as talking louder.

WLC needs systematic improvement to improve the quality of the class.

Some EFL teachers are passionate about class, but some are considered inadequate. In particular, teachers such as Sarah and Nick, Meena teach very passionately and try to communicate and communicate with students. I was touched by their efforts.

I can give 3.5 out of 5 points for the overall evaluation of this school.

WLC also operates exam preparation courses to enter Cambridge University and IELTS.

I think the tuition is cheap among the public colleges in downtown London. If you want to learn English at a public college at a low cost in London, it would be good to choose WLC.

However, I think schools need more efforts to improve the level of EFL teachers, improve treatment of teachers, and improve classroom facilities.

I think that WLC also need more school-level promotion of EFL and to provide a network and a variety of activities for students from various countries to enjoy their London life more.

If I have another chance to live in London and improve my English, I would like to choose WLC again.

We had lovely party yesterday @ college.
Nowruz has been celebrated in Iran and the Persian diaspora for more than 3,000 years. Its roots are as a feast day in Zoroastrianism, a religion practiced in ancient Persia that viewed the arrival of spring as a victory over darkness

The teachers for the Carpentry course are fantastic. Enda Mulloy was extremely supportive of my son. He noticed when things were too easy/ too hard and adapted the provision and choices accordingly. The teaching assistant, Shahim, is knowledgeable, helpful and personable. All the teachers of this course understand challenges that teens face and have high but realistic expectations. They will liaise above and beyond the call of duty with students, and also parents where appropriate. Opportunities were given for work experience and support to find employment after completing the course. Highly recommend this course at WLC. I would also like to shout out Malcolm Lloyd-Jones, the English teacher at WLC. He is incredibly diligent and caring. Thank you all!
