Discovered enrolment for the motorcycle technician course at Castleford College was on the 9th of September by text a few hours before. No email, no calls, no letters, nothing.
Was working lates all that week including the enrolment day so couldn't arrange to get time off and was also too late to inform my employer of the term dates for time off so passed the time off application for time off to study cut off date.
Waited many, many months to start this course since the open day which I attended twice, I was so looking forward to learning, new and updating my current skills, as a mature student, couldn't wait, even bought new overalls and boots in anticipation.
Feel very, very let down by the Castleford college enrolment and admissions team and due to "NO CONTACT" from them I have missed the chance to attend.
Very annoyed about this and when I called to ask about the error, well that was a complete waste of time too. Feel that they have ruined my probably one and only opportunity and seriously let me down.

One star is too many!! high staff turn over,non control with students, management are no good at all I had zero confidence that my son was being looked after and they did not meet his needs at all . My son who has moderate learning difficulties and lots of cognitive issues and is on the autistic spectrum who had 1 to 1 support throughout primary school and high school was not given a chance to learn his dream vocation in machanics he did struggle the acedemic side but ws excellent in the practical work after many pointless meetings my son was kicked out of college this was discrimination at its best i certainly do not recommened this college what so ever
