Comment for the eventing at the university not the university itself …

Great little event, nice course with decent jumps 2-4*

Not sure if it was due to covid restrictions but there was only one food vendor and no shops like at normal events, again probably covid but who knows.
Cheap ticket so if you are into eventing and the drive is good for you, well worth a visit.

A great experience, my daughter really enjoyed her taster day, giving her a feel of college life within the equitation world.

The atmosphere was warm, kind, informative on every angle.

Terrible teaching - Equine staff treat students terrible and a few more staff need to get fired. You are being paid to support my child not be rude to them just because you are in the ‘horse world’. I am yet to come across an equine teacher (or person) who is NICE! why are they all horrid, rude and self obsessed?!
I strongly recommend not sending your child here - they will come back hating their passion of horses they started with. They will be run to the ground with yard duties which is essentially them cleaning up other people’s horses and then won’t get the opportunity to do much riding AT ALL!

Food is terrible and not nutritious enough for the amount of physical activity the college expects from the students.

A whole lot of bullying happening and no support from staff - pastoral care is weak.

Drugs and alcohol found in students rooms with no disciplinary but heaven forbid you miss a lesson or sign out late - they will be trying to caution you and make you leave!

Completely disorganised - needs a new head and strong leadership team to turn this place around and will take years to get it right!

Absolutely horrid , bad food / nothing fresh , sell alcohol during day time which seems more important then healthy food , no heating in classrooms , horse welfare comes at last place , prime example on income is more important then Customer experience/ service !!! Bullies everywhere!!! When u come as international be prepared to study on your own !!

Think very carefully before sending your kids here. Look at ofsted. Pastoral care is poor the food is actually in adequate and totally inadequate for anyone who is in the sporting academy's communication between tutors and the kids is altamated unfortunately it's a massive business and the young people in there care are just a funding means to get funding.

I really don't get why people are so pressed about the vaccine stuff. Yes, it is pretty harsh that they are forced to get vaccinated but I think getting vaccinated is a good thing ? like seriously there are way too many comments abt it

My son is taking his A-Levels at this college. The effort by this college to transfer from home to living away is no less than A***. The animals are kept in a very good state and the facilities are second to none. I cant thank the college enough for the facilities for my son to continue practicing football as well as play football.
