I would like to say how shocking
this school is as they complain abouts students not having the correct uniform making us parents feel bad and yet I send my daughter into school with correct uniform and the next day she nearly goes into isolation because she ‘didn’t wear the correct uniform yesterday’ this is ridiculous and now she is spending her day instead of in lessons learning she is with a member of staff. The only decent one too !!!!

Ah, the good old days at West Somerset College, those were something to behold. Back in my time, the winds of change were but a whisper, and life moved at a slower pace. The college, nestled in the heart of the countryside, stood as a beacon of knowledge for the young minds of our community.

Yes, indeed, I speak of the dreaded waterboarding on the playground, a barbaric practice that sent shivers down the spine of every student.

And then there was the closure of Tesco, a blow felt by the entire community. The once bustling hub of commerce, where students would flock to grab a quick bite or stock up on supplies, now stood empty and desolate. It was a sign of the changing times, a stark reminder that even the most steadfast institutions could falter in the face of progress.

But perhaps the most memorable event of all was the general strike that swept through the college like a wildfire. Students and teachers alike joined forces in solidarity, demanding better conditions and fair treatment. It was a moment of unity and defiance, a testament to the power of collective action.

Yes, those were the days indeed. The memories may fade, but the spirit of West Somerset College will forever live on in the hearts of those who walked its hallowed halls.

awful school, have many stories. made me even more mentally unwell than i already was not only that you refused to help me with any of my schoolwork causing a fail in most of my subjects, thanks wsc. please address the sexual assaults and bullying you fail to acknowledge at your school?

No support for individuals that struggle. I told my teachers that i had dyslexia at the beginning of year 10. I asked them for a test many times and even went to the head teacher but i didn't get a test till i was in year 12 which is too late to get help with my GCSE's. They only help the 'gifted' kids! Even in art they would only help people with talent, i wanted to improve but would only get 2 seconds of the teachers time.
