I genuinely cannot recommend this training community enough - over the years I’ve tried all sorts of gyms, bootcamps and training plans to try get fit, but nothing ever stuck, at least until until I started here at Strong Outdoor Fitness.
I’ve been training here with Neil and the team for over 5 years now and absolutely love it. From my very first session, I was made to feel welcome and part of the community. I wasn’t too sure about the ‘outdoor’ bit at first, but it really does add to the sense of achievement!
The sessions and training blocks are really well structured and inclusive - everyone, from complete newbies to semi pro athletes, can get stuck in and all get a really good workout together. Neil and his coaches are always there to encourage you, check your form, provide advice and make sure you get the most out of the sessions.
I’m in my mid 40’s and over the last five years not only have I got fitter and stronger than I ever have been, but I’ve made friends, gained confidence and had an absolute blast while doing it - if you’re even remotely considering it just give a session a go, you won’t regret it!!

I highly recommend Strong Outdoor Fitness. It has a range of fantastic classes that have hugely increased my strength and fitness levels. It’s a great community and the classes are really sociable. Neil and his team of coaches are motivating, understanding and able to differentiate within classes to your needs. I’ve been training here for over five years and was a complete novice when I started. I’ve learned a lot from the different classes over the years and feel so much more confident in my abilities. The ethos of Strong Outdoor Fitness is about what exercise can do for you, both physically and mentally. There’s an emphasis on progress, not perfection, and what your body can do, rather than what it looks like. This helped me to reframe my view of exercise and it’s become something that I prioritise in my life to keep my mind and body strong and healthy. Training here will become part of your routine and help you build healthy habits for life.

Best ever outdoor fitness community I've ever joined.
I've been going for 2years now and felt welcomed from the very 1st contact I made with them. Neil goes above and beyond and explains the reasons why he's asking you to do each exercise and makes sure you've got the correct form if your unsure.
Everyone there are friendly and you really feel as though you are part of a family.

I had an injury for around 3 months and Neil checked in with me regularly to make sure I was OK, and also checking what I've been told I can and can't do, so he could make sure I was getting the correct exercises and alternatives once I was able to return too make me Stronger and fitter then before.

I've also been doing PT with them for around a year and love every minute (but don't tell them that!) I definitely feel Stronger, fitter and mentally healthier.

If you don't try then you will never know what all the hype is about....... But be
warned you will be addicted......

I started training with this community, because that's what it is, over six years ago. Before then, I'd trained with multiple PTs and thought that I was fit. While I might have been 'vanity fit', i.e. how much weight I could lift, I certainly wasn't functionally fit.

What I most enjoy about this group is that it is one class (whichever of the different classes you might choose), with one set of exercises, but it covers a whole spectrum of peoples' fitness and their fitness goals. Consequently, you can clearly see your progression over time, all the while still training within the same group of supportive individuals.

All my other gym memberships, and PT engagements, were discontinued not long after I started training here. You don't, and won't, need anything else, whatever fitness journey you are on.

I joined 4 months ago now, after a recommendation from a friend and it's been the exact thing I've been looking for. The workouts are fun and incorperate functional strength exercises such as, ropes, bars, tractor tires, sledge hammers, medicine balls, bar bells and loads of other equipment based activities. The exercises are also based around a program that changes every four weeks to make sure you dont plateau and work all the muscle groups in various ways. Neil is brilliant with his leadership and calm friendly encouraging demeaner and knowledge of strength & conditioning, which means great observation of your techinque to make sure you're getting the best out of your workout and keeping from injuries. Everyone I have met that takes part is like a friendly community, with a positive cheery and helpful nature. I can say from my 4 months being there that this is the strongest I have felt and I've toned up fast, I have made significant strength gains which I'm able to track from the different weights you can pick from for most of the exercises, and stack them up if required. I have much appreciation to Strong outdoors fitness, for giving me something I can really get my teeth into and keep consistant at and have fun at the same time.

I joined Strong Outdoor Fitness when an injury stopped me running and I’m now hooked! I hadn’t realised how strong I wasn’t, but now I’m stronger than I’ve ever been! Neil and Kirsty are really supportive and it’s a great way to get fit, get outside and meet like minded people ?
