Wow! What a bitter disappointment ? we waited in the queue for 20 minutes, 2 people got served in this time! There were 6 sandwiches available at 1 pm! The cafe was totally trashed. Bins are flowing as well. Seemed to be only 2 ladies serving until 1 came back from a break outside, in uniform, and a coat. She jumped straight on a till and did apologise for the wait. The pasties we got were fresh and coffee warm enough. Loads of people walked out! The toilets need a good clean as no loo roll!
As an ex employee of Greggs, I was very disappointed with the standards of this store.

Greggs is a ok place normally, but this one at lunch time was dreadful. Called in just after 1pm and was greated with a queue of about 20 people and 1 person serving at the time. Maybe 6 sandwiches on display and only half the pastries were full, asked if I'd be able to get a sandwich made and told "no sorry, I don't even know how many we have out?" Another member of staff came back from a cigarette break( seen them outside) so queue moved quicker but still not much options for food. If I knew the area better I'd have found somewhere else but was getting quite hungry by now so made do. Pretty sure I won't be going back as there is much better options near by.

Basically got kicked out by a rude woman with glasses at 2:30 on Thursday who said toilet area is closed and they are for customers only, and restaurant is closing soon anyway. I planned to get food takeaway after using a toilet with kiddies who were desperate. Made me feel very unwelcome

I give Greggs four stars only because a few years ago they sold mince pies to die for. The pastry was thick and melted in the mouth and there was a decent amount of filling. Now the pastry is thin and seems over baked. The steak bakes and cheese and onion bakes have shrunk and have become more expensive.

Went to greggs rather early to be fair about 11ish when I arrived they had about 50 sausage rolls on show all burnt I'm sick and tired of getting burnt sausage rolls to the point you can't even chew the damn thing it's 1 thing I have dentures but it's another serving over cooked sausage rolls lmao I literally asked for lighter coated ones and they did because I literally am fed up of wasting money aspecially since now prices have risen I miss my pound Bakery any 2 for £1 that's sausage rolls and cheesey bean pasties again feel like this place is kinda taking the piss out of locals and have thier shop very unorganised in a unprofessional Manor serving over cooked sausage rolls who even does this would you eat a sausage roll you simply can't bite through and looks brown.come on do better guys.

Definitely one of the better Gregg's I've visited. Quite a large place with clean toilets and plenty of seating. We sat outside as it was a lovely day and even there the tables were clear (and regularly cleared). I'd have awarded 5 stars but there wasnt a lot of stock at the time I visited and my first and second choices were both unavailable.
