Used to be a student here 2018-2023, my experience was horrible. Was let down so much over the years when i was trying to get help with diagnosises. Took over 3 months to fill out camhs forms and sent them off when they were supposed to give them back to me to complete more. Absolute piss take this school.

As a student at this academy, I would like to say this is a horrible academy. The newest principal has changed the way we have dinner. My year has to sit at the back four rows and they do one table at at time. I wanted to leave some harsh words in this review but no, I’m being kind, unlike them. I once got super vision for breathing. They say it’s the best academy but down South, there is a school where you can have your phone out in the halls. Get it together Freebrough. NET, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. Horrible experience btw.

I’m an old student named Adrianna. I hated it there teachers adored me because I was “quiet” but the only reason I was quiet because I knew the back lash I’d get for being like the other kids in class you really ruined my mental health and didn’t even bother to help me when I was being body shamed and was becoming anorexic my own mum worried for me more then you people did and to top it off kids were homophobic to me and you didn’t want to do something about it “ignore them” you said I did and it went from verbal abuse to physical violence I was scared to come to school everyday I had no one but my 2 friends and ex partner YOU MAKE ME SICK KNOWING YOUR STILL DOING THIS!!

Terrible school. My son came here and he was constantly being harassed by teachers and students. Disgraceful behaviour from teachers refusing to help a student. Not letting them go to the bathroom even if they're desperate. Really need to fix this. Not impressed.

they force u to do cross country outside in the cold and the pe teachers turn around n say "ohh ur unfit, you should get 10 mins of exercise everyday!!" (i literally exercise after every single thing i eat). when u bring a note in saying ur on ur period or smt they're like "do some exercise to take ur mind off it!!" even if ur in the most agonising pain.

another thing: the kids there r so rude for no reason. like if ur quiet they'll come up to u and start 'rizzing u up' only to mock u but if ur too loud they're like "oh shut up.. you're not funny."

The head mistress suspended my son for week given reason for smiling [smirking ]while was talking to him .. well I am not sure if anyone would agree to seat at home for that .. absolutely shambling..no work or any explanation given on request to a parent ..

Ignorance on highest level from staff members ..

This is second occasion my son stays off school with no any work given no meeting no reflection no help absolutely ridiculous failing to school as a school .

Never experienced such a bad place for children .. keep away as far as possible
