Communication is poor at this center. That is the biggest reason why I am resigning, it's unorganized and no body knows what they're doing. Staff is 100% rude to students if they needed the staff to do their job even for a small task. There are a lot of health issues at Milwaukee Job Corp, including mold and non sanitary living areas. They don’t have proper cleaning supplies or cleaning equipment to keep the rooms and active living spaces clean. The issue with drugs in center is outrageous, there are so many students who smoke while on the center and off the center. Many of the staff know about the drugs, but do nothing about it. There is never staff outside watching the students making sure they’re safe. They’re all inside watching cameras 24/7. I don’t know what good that does if something were to happen, like a fight for example they’re very far from the dorms, and in order to contact the staff they have to call them, and none of them ever answer the phone… ever. I was told as well as my husband if anything happened and we needed camera footage they won’t pull it up unless we know the exact time date and location. That’s pure laziness and It’s unsafe. The students are the second biggest reason why I chose to resign. It is NOT a learning environment. The right word would be more of a day care. Students are hitting and punching each other and being violent all in the view of staff, who do NOTHING about it. While in the classes the teacher barely lifts a finger, no teaching is done, and while nothing is being taught the students are in class being loud, screaming music at the top of their lungs… I wish I was lying. The worst part about it is no one is paying attention everyone is on their phones… one of Job Corps biggest rules. I would never go to this center if I knew half of the things that go wrong. Google reviews needs to have an option to put no stars.

This center has a bias employee Telethia Rogers who is stopping possible candidates from getting employment due to her position. She has said false information about former candidates and possible new candidates to HR and other staff members who are in position to hire. Candidates that meet the qualifications and has experience are not been recommended nor prescreened for possible positions. Shame on you Job Corps.
