On February 19, 2025, I took my two boys, aged 7 and 9, outdoor climbing for the very first time. My younger son is autistic, so I was a bit apprehensive at first, unsure of how he would react. But as soon as we started, any worries disappeared—he absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to have a go!

We all had an incredible time together, and the boys are already asking when we can go again. Thank you so much for making this such a wonderful and memorable experience for us!

Absolutely fantastic. Our kids (7 and 9 yr olds) loved it! There are three loops they can do, a practice run, and then two more that are more challenging. Parents/ guardians can stay and follow the progress all the way through on the ground below, or join in in the trees!! 100% recommended. Great instructors, who are patient with the kids and give a good briefing to make it fun and safe.

Absolutely loved our time at GoApe. We did the treetop challenge which is the higher and more challenging course. Safety briefing with Jack was excellent and we took to the 5 courses with confidence. It's quite tough but most enjoyable and we can't wait to return.

Our kids enjoyed the adventure soo much. We were especially appreciative of our instructor. He was excellent. As well as providing all the safety training and advice it was obvious that he enjoyed the role of encouraging young people to enjoy the adventure. He stayed with us for long enough to be certain that we all had got the procedures firmly locked in. This made it overall a brilliant, challenging day out in nature.

Loads of fun around the course, instructors were all super friendly and ran through the safety information thoroughly. Course took us about 2.5 hours after the initial safety briefing so about 3 hours in total for a group of 7. Took our time a bit as there was heavy rain but that just added to the fun!

One of the best Go ape adventures. A bit over the top with safety but I guess that suits the non 80s survivors 🙂

First time at any GoApe location. Took the whole family and was very impressed. We did the tree top adventure as we have kids aged between 5 and 12. The older two were able to understand and navigate the course well on their own without any supervision. The 8 year old needed a little help to begin with but then gained confidence and was working through it well on her own. The 5 year old was a little nervous but as we completed the first course he then managed to do most of it on his own. The staff here were really helpful, very polite and excellent with kids. My 5 year old was scared of going down the zipline at the end of the course and started crying but the well trained and empathetic staff helped and within a minute had the wee one flying down the zipline. Reasonable price for an hour of fun and a really great location. Car parking is £5.50 for the full day. We booked our GoApe session for 4pm but arrived just after midday and had a picnic, played some football, cricket, badminton, went for a walk and had some ice cream before our GoApe session. Just a note, the website will always recommend you buy gloves, but you don't need them at all. Great adventure and full day out for the whole family.

Very nice place to go to as a trip we really enjoyed it their and it kept us entertained for a few hours and theirs also another one for the younger kids so that’s not as high and easier. They also have amazing and patient staff.
