Great hotel with excellent staff. The lounge area with free coffee, biscuits and fruit was a great place to wind down before dinner. Good food, we had burgers with chips and coleslaw, which was great. The room was spotless and the heater was fixed within 10 mins of asking. I am definatley going back next year. Comfy beds and great view of sheep field next door. Loved it

Firstly let me say the staff are wonderful, really friendly & super helpful.|But the 'hotel' building is dire. Totally inadequate parking, only 2 disabled spaces however one of these is also the EV charging point! Heating didn't work, metal framed windows in my room didn't seal shut. Had to sleep fully clothed as it was 'fridge temperature'. Absolute dump, not enough lifts either, very badly lit rooms & no useable mirror for putting makeup on if you're shortsighted.

The rooms are very much as you’d expect. This is not a luxury hotel. However I rate it 5 stars thanks to the duty manager on shift when I checked in. Due to a mix up (not sure if it was my work or the hotel) I didn’t have a reservation for that night. After driving 5 hours to get here this was a total disaster. However the gent on reception helped me sort it out which was amazing.

Whilst the facility and room was a little bit dated, it was kept very clean throughout my weeklong stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

What made it for me was the food, amazing buffet lunches and dinners with multiple options to choose from, always including healthy alternatives. Give the chef / restaurant team a michelin star, you are doing an outstanding job!

The rooms have zero sound proof. Every one can hear each other clearly which is zero privacy. There is no fridge in the room and there is no microwave in the entire building which is very disappoiting since we are staying for a long time. The AC is out of service since we've arrived. The house keeping is good to be honest and they are very friendly. The lounge is great with good vibes and they provides free coffee and hot drinks for everyone. The design of the rooms is good.

To start, as value for money for a bed, quiet room and breakfast goes at today’s rates, it’s really good but could definitely improve with just a few tweaks.||I arrived late at night, parked in the car park and had no clear way of finding how to get in to the building. The signposting was really poor. I found a locked side door, rang a buzzer, someone answered in a muffled voice and the door stayed closed, so I assumed I’d accidentally buzzed something other than the hotel. After walking around for a bit confused, I rang the number of the hotel, told them the situation and didn’t really feel helped, but in the end worked out that the side door was the right one and was buzzed in.||The reception and check in was quick, but no info on when or where breakfast was, only an “here’s the room key, here’s where to find it” until I remembered to ask.||The room itself was fine. Compact but comfortable. Here, the clock was ticking but stuck on 7:40, the TV remote didn’t work at all, but the bed was comfy, it was quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was decent and substantial which was good.||On checking out and asking for instructions to a location, the morning receptionist was brilliant and incredibly helpful. I was very grateful for her guidance.||All in all, it served a purpose at short notice for a very reasonable price. I’d probably stay again.
