Highly recommend the basic bronze package to anyone who is picking up a camera for the first time. Ivor is great, goes at a pace which suits you and shows you the basic but very important techniques to get the most out of your camera. Did 3x 2hr sessions around the Northumberland coast and loved every minute of it. Excited to put my new skills into practice. Ivor is charming and very knowledgeable and able to put you at ease quickly. Real hands on practical sessions with advice and guidance throughout. Thank you Ivor!

We recently asked Ivor to take some photographs of a large family group for a family member's 80th birthday. He was very flexible in terms of location, and we were lucky to have good weather for an outdoor shoot on Embleton Bay with Dunstanburgh Castle as a backdrop. We were very happy with his work (both the formal and informal photographs), and would definitely recommend him.

Myself and a friend signed up for a bronze training with Ivor and we both really enjoyed it and learnt lots. Ivor is very patient and made the sessions interesting and fun. My dogs had a great time when we were learning how to photograph moving things. I would highly recommend Ivor's courses

I recently completed a one to one course with Ivor as a beginner in digital photography. I immediately felt at ease with his calm, patient and creative way of communicating (plus sense of humour!) Ivor teaches theory of photography and the all important practice, making learning interesting and fun. He also answers all your questions and gives loads of extra great tips on all things photography related. I found Ivor’s style of teaching very engaging as he clearly wants to share his valuable knowledge of the subject. His enthusiasm and passion for photography show through. I would not hesitate in recommending him to others whether beginners or more advanced in their practice. I found the lesson time flew and feel inspired to take my love of photography further. I was lucky to win a session with Ivor and we braved the cold by the sea yesterday! I consider myself to be a reasonable photographer, with a good eye, but not at all technical. Ivor explained F stops, ISO, apertures, exposure and depth of field in a way that was really easy to grasp. I really enjoyed the session and would definitely recommend him for 1:1 or group lessons. Very likeable, knowledgeable and a great communicator! He made the session fun and I feel I learned a great deal in a short space of time.
