Gresham College free lectures are excellent & Barnards Hall a historical gem. Depending on lectures they can be very oversubscribed & you are advised that a valid ticket does not guarantee entry. Some lectures attract school parties which also take up space though there is overflow viewing. I always aim to get there at least 45 minutes before the start date to ensure Hall seating. That free lectures continue here over 100 years since the founding by Sir Thomas Gresham is remarkable. Long may it continue

You can attend free lecture here in an underground hall. But there are only few occasions here as lecture are usually held at other places such as museum. Here are good people to receive and they also give hard copy of lectures. A great experience.

Absolutely ridiculous policy with the hall being 40% overbooked for the lectures. Please reconsider it. I am not coming back while you pretend it's okay for someone like me to waste my time and money to travel here and not be allowed in despite coming 15 mins in advance.
