Talk about blocking the poor from educating themselves. It is £75 just to apply to them. In my work, my boss tends to throw away applications that are not valid. £75 just to be laughed at. you get in? 9k a year for a powerpoint based lesson.

I’d like to prefix by saying I’ve nothing but respect and admiration for the King’s Business School, KCLFC, King's Entrepreneurs, and Green Finance.

Unfortunately, there are several members of staff and departments at this institution, who have either directly or indirectly created a hostile, discriminatory, and quite literally dangerous environment for myself.

Following an incident in the fall of 2024 whereby a security guard punched me in the face*, hard enough to break the skin, draw blood, and leave a scar above my left eye, I naturally voiced my concern to the school. Only to have a Ms. Travis reply with all manner of condescending material that ranged from Alcoholics Anonymous to therapist contact information. They never acknowledged or apologized for the violence perpetrated on behalf of their colleagues.

Nonetheless, I sought to move past it and did not pursue additional action at the time. A few months later I started work as a Teaching Assistant at the school and all was relatively fine until exam markings. My decision to approach every submission with a critical eye, and forgo “rubber stamping” exams that simply utilized the “word vomit” approach, was not particularly well received by several students. Every single exam was provided with a hard copy containing personalized feedback as to their strengths and shortcomings. Given that there were well over one hundred collective exams to mark and comment on, feedback was at times copy pasted if it was applicable to more than one exam. This was of course called out as my use of an AI, and being a lazy TA, because low hanging fruit of that nature is easier for someone with an inflated ego to grasp.

Roughly 2 months later, I was made into the scape goat for an incident at my accommodation, whereby a colorless liquid landed adjacent to a group of students. This group then thoroughly instigated the concierge to the point that they proceeded to enter any unlocked door on the first floor, without invitation, in an attempt to investigate this incident.

And so, as I’m preparing dinner on the evening of, an aggressive, loud, aggravated man throws open the kitchen door and demands I come downstairs for some reason or another. Given that I have to deal with this person on a near daily basis it seems in my best interest to comply. We proceed downstairs, he takes me into the street, and thrusts me towards a group of relatively placid students, save for one individual intent on keeping the situation inflamed. Of note, there are several students in this crowd whom I recognize from class.

They, or rather the one individual, repeatedly decries me to be the perpetrator, and then browbeats several students into signing a petition after I yell at the concierge for ruining my evening. At the individual for shoving me in a violent manner, in full sight of the concierge, who did absolutely nothing in response. But most importantly, for returning to my room with several other members of the staff in an unmistakably threatening manner. Said individual is apparently a father, and so I can only assume their actions stem from a form of age discrimination.

Another month later, said petition makes its way to a Ms. Fairchild, Ms. Nzekwe, and Mr. Large, who proceed to immediately, per meritless evidence, exclude me from campus for well over 30 days. During which Ms. Fairchild repeatedly indicates they cannot substantiate the events that took place and require a third party. Regardless, access to my office and facilities is indefinitely suspended during this time. Ms. Fairchild also felt it necessary to email everyone at the Business School about said exclusion, again despite substantiated evidence as to wrongdoing. Said actions resulted in defamation and lost wages, among other things.

In sum, King’s has stained my Ph.D. experience and these events should be known by anyone considering this university as a place of study or employment.

As a student in this college, please if you’re thinking of it DONT!! It’s a waste of time & energy. I regret ittttttt!!! They’re just getting the money from us 0 professionalism, no one cares about your program progress no one would help at all the program is just so stupid and pathetic… A LOSSSS

I studied at King's College London for five years. When I was a master's student, my dissertation was wrongly accused of academic misconduct for no reason. I have no fault whatsoever. But the score for the dissertation was inexplicably downgraded. The master's experience was really bad and disgusting. Endless strikes, unfair grading, indifferent staff. As a result of attending this university, I suffered a lot psychologically. KCL was not like this 5 years ago. Not recommended now. It hurts to see my alma mater deteriorate. But it must be scored low. I would give it the lowest rating on the graduate questionnaire survey. Just like you can't do justice to my dissertation.

My experience here has been incredibly negative from the very start. After securing a spot on an MSc program and paying a hefty £120 application fee plus a £500 deposit, I was eventually informed that I wouldn’t be able to do the course and had to withdraw (for various reasons that were never made clear to me upon application). Throughout the process, I had to chase down administrative staff and different departments on my own, as most of the staff, with a few exceptions, seemed to lack empathy for students going through difficult situations.

The course I was supposed to take focused on a country with a sensitive political climate. I was told that, due to the 'sensitive nature' of the content, none of the classes would be recorded. This felt particularly surprising, as my UG institution championed academic freedom, freedom of thought, and freedom of speech. If you're going to censor a course’s content just to cater to the financial interests of that country, why teach it at all?

KCL, like many universities today, rely heavily on fees from international students, overlooking us home students in comparison.

For these reasons I wouldn’t recommend KCL to anyone. It might be better for UG programs, but for PG studies, I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

This review is about King's College London which is a public research university and located in London. It was adream come true to finally see and visit this place while spending time with family in the UK. With bit research I found that the College is selective, which means in every few hundred few get selected. It’s one of the most prestigious faculties of its kind, it was ranked 6th in the UK. The College is open to tourists, local visitors and students and this is how they make extra money. The place is very old and looks like less maintenance been carried over the years to upgrade & modernize the College. Kings has a particularly distinguished reputation in the humanities, law, the sciences and all the things you see around as you walk is very evident. King's College London holds a Student Visa license issued by UKVI that allows to bring overseas students into the UK to study, so most of the overseas students on a programme of 6 months or more will need this visa and its quite expensive. There is a lot to see at the campus like the Chapel, Roman Bath & The Vault. I wished if the college was more open to welcome other students of all walks of life.

I went for a campus visit. Infrastructure is decent. Students gave mixed reviews. Jobs after studies is a major concern. A consultancy firm was doing an activity on campus to let them understand careers in consulting.
Security is pretty good. Cafe and tuck shop both are expensive .

King-Ho Leung new to the faculty downgrades the university’s overall reputation. Pseudo theologian Leung lectures on “Taylor Swift and philosophy,” while also claiming to be a metaphysical expert. The university seems to be slumming and its academic standards have gone down hill.
