Beautiful building and often quite busy with students studying or having lunch. The class rooms are simple & minimalist, in comparison to the outer grand look of the building.

UCL Cruciform Building Reception Team:

This is serious! If UCL takes its students' feedback seriously, I would appreciate it if they could take action on this matter!!!

I am a UCL student, and today, Sunday, April 7th 2024, at 10:48 AM. I showed my ID to the reception guy, and I wanted to go to the hub, but he didn't open the main door, although it was just 12 minutes before the hub opening time (not the building opening time)! The problem is not here, and the problem is that guy was "Very Rude" and not nice or a normal person at all!!!

Speak to you in a way as he is fighting with you!!!!! This guy and there's another one; their place should not be at a world university like UCL. Other staff members are friendly and big respect for them!! I included the date and time to allow them to investigate who that guy was! I very much hope that UCL management can kindly take this matter seriously and give them some training on how to be nice or at least normal with students. I want to study with good mood not with someone get you upset in the main door for no reason!!!!

On May 19 2023 UCL cancelled a Cruciform Building booking by a fierce Putin critic Viktor Shenderovich, without any explanation, an hour before the concert start time. This can be seen as supporting Putin's war in Ukraine and an act of suppressing the freedom of speech, which is a shame for UCL.

A nice red-brick building in the heart of London. It's the main building for medical students, and comes equipped with research laboratories, wet and dry labs, computer clusters, lecture theatres, seminar rooms and the Cruciform Hub. The Hub does get extremely busy as it is newly-built, so expect to have to fight for space on occasions!

A wonderful place! Visit the old hospital where now lectures and laboratories are located. A unique architecture outside and inside. Unfortunately currently a bit blocked due to renovation but still absolutely worth a short visit.

Out of all the friends I've had, no one was more there for me during my despairing studies than this place. It picked up my tears, pulp from revision, kept me warm when I was cold, and froze me with it's narnia-like ac, provided many other sad frs to look upon when I needed comfort. Though the medics think they belong there, they can never take you away from me. Thank you cruiciform for being my 100% best friend.

Security guard here was so rude that at first I thought he was a thug pretending to be a security guard to lure me in so he could rob me.
Security Guard: Why are you in here?!
Me: I'm interested in architecture & like to look around buildings as a hobby.
Security Guard: Get out!
Also the security guard was holding an old tabloid reading "Who's A Naughty Boy Then?" as if intentionally trying to be a stereotypical arrogant security guard from a pantomime.
It left me thinking "Maybe they shouldn't sack him, because if they did, I bet he would become a criminal".
