I have completed two online courses with this college, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. They were always prompt in their responses, and I received a great deal of support from both the tutors and progress coaches. Even when I had to extend my submission deadlines due to work, life, and online studies, they were understanding and accommodating.

I first enrolled after being referred by Free Online Courses UK, and for my second course, I applied directly through their website—both processes were smooth and hassle-free. I truly appreciate how well they manage everything, ensuring students have the support they need to successfully complete their courses. I’m more than happy with my experience and highly recommend them!

Avoid this college at all costs!

I had a terrible experience with this institution. My issue could have been resolved with a simple reminder that I had forgotten to fill in a "take a break" form; instead, they kicked me off the course. To make matters worse, they are now demanding I pay £100.

The lack of communication and understanding is appalling. The entire situation could have been handled more reasonably, but instead, I am left feeling completely unsupported and unfairly treated. I would not recommend this college to anyone! There are so many bad reviews here, and many great colleges are out there - don't join this one!!

I completed an online course over a year ago, handed everything in on time and didn't miss a single deadline.
I often had to chase my tutor to remind him that I'd handed in an assessment and was sometimes waiting weeks for feedback/marking.

I'm still waiting to be awarded certification and final mark.

I've emailed countless times at first I was told 'external verification will be completed tomorrow' and then eventually I was ignored.
I called asking for updates and was told I'd have a call back with an answer the same day - I'm still waiting for a call back 3 months later.
I've filled in the complaints section on their website twice and each time it's been ignored.
This institution doesn't inspire confidence and I will never enroll for anything offered by Lincoln college again.
I will be looking into ways I can claim my course fee back as this really is unacceptable.

Appalling experience. I applied for a Level 2 Digital Marketing course. I submitted all details including passport ID, as requested. I received no acknowledgment of receipt. I waited for months. I finally spoke to Selina Smith who requested I resend my passport details. Again, there was no acknowledgment of receipt. I finally cancelled my application explaining that I had been the victim of identity theft and was uneasy with the way Lincoln College does business. I requested assurances that my confidential data was handled correctly and with due care. Despite assurances that I would hear back from the college, I have heard nothing. This institution does not inspire confidence. It feels flaky and shady. Stay away.

I recommend doing catering course, they are very good with teaching you how to be a chef. I will be able to get a job when I leave and it’s all thanks to Simon Walker the chef.

If you’re about to retake maths and English, do not bother with this college. Sent false information about the English exam and told us that the information was false 10 minutes before the exam and furthermore never got back to me about the second exam paper. they didn’t allow me to retake the exam.

Maths and English classes on top of 9+ hour days not even learning anything Becuase everyone is “tired”

Lack of teaching. “We’ll go over this again” or “we’ll learn this together next time” which has never happened and just went to a different subject when people where still struggling.

I did an online course almost 2 years ago funded & docs signed .. completed all had to ask for Certificate many times

I now find all this time later constant textes emails voicemails telling me to fill in forms again for course I’ve just enrolled on !! Welcoming me BUT THREATENING me with fees ! It’s laughable I’ve certainly not enrolled for anything else & the pressure while now major life & health issue is unreal. They have not updated that I’m done finished gone so long ago completed OR they are not genuine & trying to scam people. I really don’t know & sadly when I did the course I recommended them for ease online & free funded for those of us able to work etc .

Absolutely terrible. The support just isn’t there for people with any sort of mental or physical health issues. Me and my friend in the space of a week were moved from our course to an online one instead over half way through the year under the excuse ‘we can’t keep you safe and you will fail the course anyway’ and we were also told that if we were on campus outside designated hours for our maths/English we would be removed from campus and dropped as a student, which if they put the right support in, in the first place it would not have been an issue. Moving on to mental health support, that is even more shocking, from being kicked out of drop in to counselling that never seems to happen, i was told for months I was going to be getting it soon and still yet to be put in counselling, it’s a joke. They do not care about you due to the lack of support from student services it was left up to my progress coach to put in an hour a week for a chat about mental health which should not have fallen on his shoulders but it did anyways but even then it was few and far between, it was supposed to be weekly and it was for about a month but after that it became increasingly difficult to get a chat. I also had members of student services towards the end make is seam like my progress coach did not want to carry on that support for me, upon talking to my progress coach he was still happy to do it. The tutors this year have been overworked and expected to do so much not leaving much of any time for the students in their care. I was a health and social care student last year and did very well and loved the course even though they threw me on it last second, and was promised a place on level 3 but after getting enrolled on to level 3, the last lesson on the first day I was told that I should have never been enrolled in it anyways and they moved me to childcare which I had absolutely no passion for. So for 2 years in a row I have been just chucked on a course and it has been called a day every time. This happens with a lot of other people that were also in my course group as well, all of us being chucked on to a course we have no passion for. When my attendance dropped due to mental and physical health they were not accommodating one bit. They did not want to work with me, I would get in trouble for not attending college even if I had been in hospital the day before but I would also get hell if I attended college the day after I was in hospital. I can not win. It got to a point when I wouldn’t say anything if I had been in hospital and go in anyways because what choice did I have. They had stood me down as a student for a couple days and my grandma and me had both been told I could go back the Friday of that week so obviously I did show up that Friday and within the first 20 minutes of that class I was pulled out and told that I in-fact was not supposed to be in at all and we should have never been told that I could go back on that day. There is no communication from these people and I’m sick of it. When it came to having a meeting for my return, the same meeting where I was told I was only permitted to be on campus for 2 hours a week it took ages to even get through to them to set the meeting date and time up, as when my mum emailed them, they ignored her until the Friday I showed up and said she had emailed but heard nothing back. I can also confirm that the college has made my mental health worse than it has ever been and with that, my physical health issues also got worse. I also used to go to the project you team when I needed support until some of them made me feel like a burden and my friend had overheard one of them saying some pretty horrible things about me, it’s entirely unprofessional and pretty concerning considering the whole point of the project you department is to look after the wellbeing of the students. If you care about your kids wellbeing do not send them here
