Been a member here for 12 months and about to renew for another year. Given the fact there’s loads of places I could go, renewing for another 12 months speaks volumes. Staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The lounge is a massive plus point for this place. Free tea and coffee and good food available during the day and a really nice relaxing and eye pleasing place to sit and spend time. Along with a huge selection of gym equipment and machine such at assault bikes and treadmills there’s also a large choice of free weights and weight training/resistance machines. Fit 26 also offer personal training, sports massage and a host of training and injury advice all of which I’ve accessed and used myself. An Alter G anti gravity treadmill is also available to use which is an amazing machine to use particularly when used in conjunction with injury recovery. Multiple classes are run everyday and there’s something for everyone. I can only see this place getting better and hear of some exciting new equipment updates in the pipeline.

Good gym, well lit (not too in your face bright), good spread of equipment. Dumbbell & bench area can feel slightly tight in peak times but still functional. -1 for speaker location as it's right next to the squat rack and they seem to crank it up to unreasonably high volume for the whole gym & for the group Fitness class that runs at the cardio end of the gym. (having tinnitus I'm getting more defended these days by unmeasured & excessively loud volume in public areas & music experiences due to a lack of awareness & reasonable volume control at a safe level to prevent hearing loss. Everyone these days seems to have hearing damage from festivals; most young people don't even know they have it, the only difference is the ringing in my ears is a rudimentary indicator that I know I'm going deaf from things as simple as loud gym speakers next to your head changing barbell plates.

Signed up for ‘Get ready for summer offer’ which included PT sessions. Alisha PT has been amazing, she made me feel comfortable in the gym and inspired me to use machines which I would never have used. She listened to my aspirations which ultimately gave me the drive & confidence to visit the gym more than ever! I can really feel the difference in my fitness and now signed up as a full member. A friendly and well equipped gym.

Absolutely love this gym! It's far more than just a gym. It's a family, a community and a lifeline. I've met the most amazing new friends from going to the gym over the last 18 months. A really great social place with a fab relaxed lounge serving great food and drinks. Definitely not your standard gym. Can't recommend enough

Great gym and facilities, really glad i joined. I now have personal training with Danny who is fantastic. He's so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and works with your body as needed. It doesn't matter that you're not a top athlete, he works on building your strength and fitness gradually.

When i first started training with him, i was off work ill and he has been so understanding and worked with me at a pace that was right for me. I cannot thank him enough for how much he has helped me. He works so hard and definitely deserves the recognition. I'm pleased to say he's also become a friend as well as my PT.

The gym itself is great, nice and clean with good changing room facilities. A wide range of classes are available - great gym and staff. Would definitely recommend.

I love this gym.

It's run by a group of fantastically creative people who work together pushing the facility from strength to strength. There's always somebody on hand to help; be it with training, general health queries or injury. All of the customers are friendly which makes it a great place to make friends, learn new things and have fun.

There's a tonne of new equipment, lots of space to work and great classes.
The showers are the BEST showers I've ever been in.

Access to the lounge, awesome food and free tea and coffee are just an added bonus.

If you've never been, you're missing out!

Great gym. Amazing atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. This gym is perfect for people who want to join the gym for the first time and perfect for people who are very experienced with gyms. Quality and modern facilities/equipment. You really do get more than you pay for here. I could not recommend this place enough.

I joined the gym a few weeks ago and have found Ross and the staff team really welcoming. I love my classes and the club has a wide range of cardio, strength and wellbeing classes. I have done classes with Ross, Heidi, Lisa and Lydia so far and the quality of coaching is consistently really high.
The facilities are great and the equipment is all new. The club is really good at keeping you up to date on Everything that is going on/ changes via social media.
