After doing an apprenticeship with WS Training for about 1 year and a half, I can honestly say I have never had an experience like it in my entire life. For starters they shouldn’t have even allowed me to do an apprenticeship with my employer, as I found out they had a track record of owing money.

Of course everything in life isn’t always a magical fairy-tale, however what I did expect is when something does go wrong, the training provider (WS Training) helps out.

I also gave up my sixth form education, to do one of their so called “apprenticeships”. So not only am I £1000 out-of-pocket by the employer (that’s without mentioning the employer refusing my holidays and the amount of times and money wasted on £60 weekly train fares).

The last 6 months of my placement they thought it was absolutely fine that I was taking calls from debt collects, people shouting down the phone demanding money. They were told all this about 3 months in advance, however their advice was just “carry on going in”. I was also not getting paid for months and months, but that was fine as-well as they were “sorting it”.

While all this was happening they were actually allowing the employer to advertise for a new apprentice! My family rang on multiple occasions to ask to take it down, so someone else doesn’t get conned!

They seem to take on anyone without doing many checks. I personally believe they need to put more checks in place.

On the whole a very upsetting & time wasting experience, I will never want to be repeated.

Brilliant learning provider, a lot more personal and offer a lot more support than colleges such as Suffolk new college. All staff are supportive and really care about their students. Definitely recommend 👍

The course i am currently doing is very good, my Assessor Jeremy is very good to work with and always makes the visit interesting. I have learnt a lot of new things because of this course which has helped me in my everyday use of ICT.

I go here and I always love coming in here and I love how crazy it always is here and how fun it is. It is way better than schools and collages. It is always so understanding and helpful here!

This is a training centre for student up to 24 years old. The staff are brilliant and so helpful. They are moving at the end of this week to bigger and better site up the road.
