1ST EDIBO BOOTCAMP IN LITHUANIA

Integration Center (IC) has started its first EDIBO bootcamp on the 3rd of March in Vilnius. With the help of one of the leading partners in hi-tech in Lithuania – Turing School, Integration Centre has developed a learning program adopted from Harvard CS50 in order to give the most up-to-date knowledge and practical skills for students.

Sadly, the lockdown of Lithuania has started on 16th of March with the abolishment of all physical learning courses. That is why, due to Covid – 19 and the Global Pandemic, Integration Centre decided to reorganize classes online. Currently, Integration Centre and Turing School are successfully implementing courses online. This activity gives participants not only appropriate knowledge, but also keeps students busy in these difficult times.

By the end of May, 17 participants, who are belonging to the category of NEET’s, will have finished 200 academic hours courses which will help them not only develop needed IT skills but also to gain more confidence in the English language, teamwork and self-confidence.

The Digital Skills training courses are organized under the project EDIBO (European Digital Bootcamps), funded by the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. Integration Centre, as a national partner of Lithuania, will organize a total of 6 training courses by the end of September 2021.
